• Supervise & manage a diversified team of RMs, Credit Analysts and Credit Assistants to support corporate relationships
• Identifying opportunities to market ‘New-to-Bank’ corporate relationships through active engagement with local industrial and trade bodies
• Extensively engage with corporates to understand business, provide tailor made solutions and negotiate commercial terms
• Supervise preparation, structuring & review of high quality credit proposals for lending to corporate clients
• Arrange for management approval, setting up credit lines for working capital in the form of Overdrafts, Short term loans for local & overseas purchase of raw materials or finished goods, Off-balance sheet lending as in LCs & LGs, export document purchasing (LC refinancing), Import credit lines in the form of Trust Receipts, Medium to Long term cash, business and project finance loans for various green field and brown field projects undertaken by the corporate
• Monitoring utilization of funded & non-funded lines to ensure proper end use of funds & identify early warning signals
• Ensuring customer profitability by cross selling products such as Insurance, payroll solutions, cash management etc.
• Monitoring business & account performance to identify growth opportunities & performance risk factors
• Supervise review of available securities & ensuring documentation perfection to ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise meetings of stressed assets, proposing loan workouts & restructuring of facilities to minimize NPA flows
• Actively mobilizing fixed deposits and other low cost deposits for the bank
• Conducting periodic review and revision of credit policy to be in line with prevailing market conditions
• Developing strategic alliances with Qatar Development Bank, Qatar Exchange & Qatar Chamber etc.
