Project Description : The projects consists of Engineering, Procurement and Construction of two floor substation buildings and auxiliary structures like UG tank, Fire Pump Room etc.,
Responsibilities :
• Preparation of overall setting out plan
• Review of structural calculation reports
• Preparation/review of architectural, structural and P&D drawings
• Quantity estimation
• Coordination with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Creative Clusters Authority, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority etc.,
• Interaction with Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting and MEP engineers
• Finalization of subcontractors by preparing technical and commercial comparison statements and releasing work orders
• Monitoring monthly cash flow and subcontractor billing cycles
• Preparation of Accepted Cost Estimate and Job Cost Reports
• Quantity calculation and certification of subcontractor invoices
• Handling approval of material submittal
• Monitoring cost and time using L&T in-house software EIP
• Attending weekly and monthly progress meeting and preparing MOM
• Preparation of structural framing plan for buildings considering extensive electromechanical requirements, including slab and wall openings, trenches, basements, rafts, overhead cranes and various embedments
• Analyzing and designing equipment foundations and steel support structures
• Preparation/review of structural calculation reports and drawings
• Review of shop drawings
• Regular site visit for clearing RFIs
• Involved in the preparation of GA drawing for Steel and Wood Poles.
• Designed Wood and Steel Poles using PLS POLE.
• Prepared Sag - Tension calculation and profile drawings using PLS CADD.
• Reviewed structural design report of Towers, Tower GA drawings and Tower Foundations.
• Reviewed and revised shop drawings submitted by tower material vendor to verify connections, and size details according to the structural drawings.
• Involved in site topographical survey in order to decide location of poles and towers.
