Responsibilities and activities:
• Various type of mechanical job performed such as mechanical seal replacement, Pump overhauling, Major overhauling of Steam Turbine and Generator in ADNOC General Utility Plant with an output of 43 M.W.
• Performed jobs in the Main Steam Valves, Governing Valves, and Grid Valves forservicing and installing it back with the appropriate readings and approval.
• Overhauling of ST rotor, Gen Rotor, replaced fixed blades, replaced seals with new seals in the diaphragms.
• Performed steam flow check in the L/H Casing.
• Replacement of thrust and journal bearings.
• Assembling of GEN rotor.
• Performed rotor- Gen run out and Alignments check.
• Supervised Electrical Tests for Generator.
• Performed Rotary Kiln Seal upgrade and replacement in NORM Plant (Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material) ADNOC Ruwais. Abu-Dhabi UAE.
• Performed the work scope for removing the existing seal plates and installing it with newly designed seal to stop the leakage of radioactive waste materials. As per MOC & OEM
• Removed the existing Seal and installed the new seal with OEM team
• Working in the maintenance of Gas turbine in GUP.
• Working in the maintenance of sea water intake channels and complete overhauling of bar screens and band screens
• Overhauling of Gearbox, motor, and chains in the SWI site
• Performed major maintenance in HITACHI Gas turbine and generators (FRAME 6) with an output of 20 M.W in Mubarraz Island, United Arab Emirates.
• Performed Hot Gas Path Inspection in frame 6 Hitachi gas turbine.
• Overhauling and replacement of the shroud block and stage 1&2 buckets.
• Overhauling and replacement of first stage and second stage nozzle.
• Overhauling and replacing of TP, liner, crossfire tubes, returners, and fuel nozzle in the combustion chamber.
• Conducted preventive maintenance and repairs, conducted balancing programs, alignments, and many other industrial equipment repairs.
• Performed major overhauling of two HITACHI Gas turbine generators (Frame 5) with an output of 20 M.W in Mubarraz Island, UAE.
• Conducted overhauling in accessory gear box
• Disassembled and assembled generator rotor and finalized rim and face alignments, done runout checks, and coupling the GEN shaft with bull gear shaft.
• Disassembled and assembled exciter rotors and finalized the rim and face alignmentsalong with the bearings.
• Replaced new pinion and bull gear in the load gearbox and coupled the bull gear shaft to the GEN shaft and pinion shaft to the turbine shaft.
• Checking backlash between the bull gear and pinion gear.
• Maintenance of desalination plants by replacing the old demister pads with the newones in MIPCO Site & TAPCO Site, TAWEELAH, ABUDHABI, and UAE.
• Lead 2 minor and 1 major shutdown of MSFs in MIPCO Site - Al Mirfa, as a PTW Engineerand Site Coordinator.
• Work scopes done are, maintenance of evaporator stages, water boxes, vacuum system, ball cleaning systems, brine heaters, and tube leak testing.
• Maintaining good communication with the client office and back office and executingthe projects as planned.
• Preparation of DPR (Daily Progress Reports) to the management.
• Work allocation to the manpower and tracking the daily work progress.
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
• Lead and managed projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, goals, and objectives
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues and risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies
• Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, budget variance reports, andrisk assessment reports.
