Global business change project. Application and SharePoint development, OS & Office 365 migration & hardware upgrade. 140
applications & sites & 500+ users. Managing multiple regions - Europe and APAC. Working with: end users, support, Development,
Infrastructure, Information Security, Technology Risk, Software Vendors & deployment contractors. When I joined RBC the project
mandate had been set for Phase 1: migration of all FIC owned/developed applications and sites to be migrated to Windows 7 and
SharePoint and Phase 2: migration of all FIC users to Windows 7 & Office 365. This was part of the larger Program to migrate all
RBC Capital Markets to Windows 7 & Office 365. I was initially responsible for creating a ‘Requirements' document with the aim of
identifying the various development options within the set timeframe and resources. I engaged with Microsoft to develop a high-level
project plan after various Cloud Fit workshops and assessments carried out by Microsoft engineers and deployment managers.
Working with Application Development & Support, we identified the most effective migration options and subsequently obtained sign-
off from the business & IT after the fully developed Project Initiation Document and Project Plan were presented. Over the following
9 months, while the dev teams worked on re-development of apps and sites onto Windows 7 & SharePoint I was responsible for
tracking progress and creating management reports using the logs and dashboards I created and maintained. During this time, I
also worked closely with QA and end users to formulate a testing plan and subsequent UAT criteria. After completion of Phase 1, I
started working closely with Global Technology Infrastructure to incorporate FIC migration into the wider CM migration project. Initially
we worked developing a granular project plan for FIC migration from WinXP to Win7 & on-prem Exchange to Office 365. The project
plan was incorporated into a ‘FIC window' within the wider project, scheduled for 2015. Prior to deployment I worked closely with the
business to identify their hardware requirements; this was incorporated into the GTI deployment plan, which had to be adjusted due
to the staggered nature of hardware delivery. During deployment I created and maintained various RAID logs and dashboards, with
the aim of tracking the project and creating reports for mangement. With migration reaching an end I compiled the Project Closure
Document, made up of the various Stage End reports, Phase End reports, Lessons Learnt reports and the handover document.

was responsible for compiling and finalizing the detailed project plan and obtaining sign-off from the Business and Technology
Managers. While development teams were working on the project I was directly responsible for maintaining a Risk & Issue Log and
