Key responsibility:
Perform compliance risk assessments relative to compliance regulations.
Perform Technology process review.
Work with the team lead, in coordinating Audit/Regulatory examinations
and provide documentation to examiners as necessary.
Follow-up on status of unresolved issues on Technology platforms.
Day to day monitoring and reporting of security events and antivirus status including VAPT exercises.
Work with business lines in establishing adequate controls, policies and procedures, training, and quality assurance processes.
Perform compliance risk assessments relative to compliance regulations.
Responsible for implementing, managing and enforcing security directives as mandated by management.
Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with business strategy and requirement
Ensure that the access control, disaster recovery, business continuity, incidence response and risk management needs of the bank are properly addressed
Lead information security awareness and training initiatives to educate the staff about information risk
Perform ongoing information risk assessment and audit to ensure that information systems are adequately protected.
Coordinate an incident response team to contain, investigate and prevent future computer security breaches.
Risk management and Information Technology Assurance
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing for banks
Application Embedded Controls Testing (Oracle Financials, SAP and JD Edwards)
Post implementation Review of application systems
Design and testing of segregation of duties matrix.
Design of internal audit / IT audit work programs
Business impact analysis and development of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan
IT Security Review
The main duty involved fault finding, diagnosis and providing 1st line support.
Support for Win XP and 2000 professional. Call capturing, logging and escalation to higher levels of support
Provides technical assistance to external clients; analyzes problems and implements solutions; provides technical support, analysis, and training in the use of computers systems and peripheral devices.
Desktop systems installation, configuration, maintenance and testing
Formulation and enforcing of suitable IT policies on systems at desktop level.
Structured cabling, hubs and routers technology.
Daily backups of data and databases.
Maintains an accurate report of equipment and software malfunctions; keeps the computer equipment clean and performs other preventive maintenance functions
