PROFILE:

Highly motivated and energetic Electronics & Telecommunication Test & Measurement sales personnel with excellent marketing, business development & technical skills. Over 7 years’ experience of working in T&M industry and successfully identifying, developing and managing new business opportunities within Kuwait region as channel partner of KEYSIGHT Technologies & VIAVI Solutions.


Job Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Business Development & Sales Activities:
• Prepare business plans annually & provides sales forecast/funnel monthly & quarterly basis to KEYSIGHT & VIAVI.
• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities & establish prospects towards achieving agreed business aims by using sales & marketing strategies.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison.
• Handle various accounts of educational institutes (Universities, Research Centers), Kuwaiti ministries (Information, Communication, Civil Aviation and Defense) and MSPs (Mobile Service Providers), ISPs.
• Execute sales and marketing activities (customer presentation, exhibition, seminars) in Kuwait to promote KEYSIGHT, JDSU/VIAVI.
2. Presales Activities:
• Deliver technical and pre sales oriented presentations regarding product solutions and execute demonstrations at client sites to generate new sales enquiry.
• Ability to translate client’s business requirements into technical solutions and ensure best suitable configuration within client `budget.
• Conduct competitive analysis of KEYSIGHT/VIAVI specific product against Anritsu, R&S, and EXFO etc., prepare SWOT analysis & present USPs (Unique Selling points) to the client to beat the competition.
• Attend all technical training (online Field Training Day- FTD) & sales meeting (On site) of vendors to be updated of new technologies, product features. By using this info, identify new opportunities with various clients.
3. Bid Management Activities:
• Create technical proposals as per client requirement in different areas such as Electronic Test & Measurement units (KEYSIGHT Technologies) & Optical Fiber testing tools (VIAVI Solutions).
• Analyze bid documents/RFPs & customize techno-commercial solution to fulfill requirements for govt. clients.
• Consult with technical experts & verify proposal for bid submission.
• Control the quality, risk and cost effectiveness of each bid and ensures agreed profit margin.
4. Order Process Management:
• Prepare & process purchase order and ensure scheduled delivery.
• Negotiate with vendors for better offer to maximize profit margin.
• Report to General Manager about client requests and proposals.

Technical Expertise:
• Sound knowledge of product/service mix of Agilent/KEYSIGHT electronic test & measurement portfolio ( RF/MW, Digital & Communication etc)
• Successfully completed Agilent NEOPHYTE training program and attend yearly competitive training/sales meetings with KEYSIGHT & JDSU/VIAVI.
• Hands on experience of KEYSIGHT RF/MW field testing, and RF interference hunting, Network Analyzers, Signal Sources, Counters, and Oscilloscopes etc.
• Expert on JDSU/VIAVI Network test solutions for Fiber Characterization, Ethernet Testing, PDH/SDH Testing (BER testing).
