To monitor the construction process to ensure performance meets job quality and design Requirements in accordance with Company procedures and international standards.
to coordinate with clients to carry out Procedure Qualification Tests (PQR) and inspections of prepared test Specimens and witness destructive tests.
To identify and prepare Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & PQR for jobs as per project specifications and standards.
Verify Welders performance and welding parameter as per Approved WPS.
To collate all relevant documentation for the job and prepare Test Pack.
Check welding machines to ensure that meets job requirements.
Provide verification of electrode baking and holding temperature including control and issue.
To conduct fit up and dimension inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
Duties description:
Materials receiving inspections (piping, choke valve, gate valve, PSV, etc)
Monitor all welding activities as per WPS .
Check welding visual and welders qualifications.
Preparing inspection quality plane (I TP).
Interpretation radiographic films (RT)
Witness hydrostatic pressure for 6” pipeline .
Preparing hydrotest package and all required documents.
Check heat shrinkage sleeve (H.S.S) and sand blasting.

SUPER VISING TO WELDING IN SITE AND WORKSHOP
Check pipe and plate and welding consumables size, correct method of
cutting weld preparations.
Check specification and drawings.
In-process distortion control (sequence or balance welding).
Witness hydrostatic test procedure for piping or pressure vessels.
Check welding visual inspection of weld joint.
Check and monitor NDT requirement (method, operator qualification,
execution).
Post weld heat treatment (PWHT) heating method and temperature
record.
Submission of inspection reports and all related documents
