• Prepare daily flight schedule as per laid down procedures in safe, eficient and economical manner.
• Publish the flight schedule to relevant address, with all information relevant to the safe and eficient operation of the flight.
• Inform flight following and Duty oficers of all essential information related to the flight schedule.
• Carryout flying briefing/ debriefing for all concerned (Site Managers) with current flight schedule.
• Update aircraft state and publish to all concerned, post all schedules and schedule changes in appropriate physical locations and on the Airops/Movcon bulletin board on the lotus notes.
• Maintain liaison with the entire Airops assistants in all the sector of responsibility.
• Performs as Special Flight Request desk oficer, train the newly recruited staf oficers to work in their capacity upon arrival and cover their duties upon departure or while on leave.
• Occasionally assigned to sector to perform duties as directed by Chief Aviation oficer or Chief of Air operations on temporary assignment as follows:

• Receive Daily flight Schedule and develop Sector version of DFS.
• Prepare Air Tasking Order (ATO) in accordance to required DFS tasks.
• Publish Sector version of DFS to sector personnel.
• Provide required information(GPS Coordinates, Flight clearances, Security clearances etc)
• Prepare the following day's sector draft DFS to ensure all the required SFRs (Special flight Request) are included in the final DFS issued by Mission Air Operations Center Head Quarters.
• Monitor the daily movement of air assets to ensure all the missions are executed safely in accordance with the published DFS.
• Flight following (ETD/ATD, ETA/ATA etc…) of all the air assets within my area of responsibility.
• Report all departures and landings of air assets to flight following ofice.
• Coordinate with Movcon and Supply (Fuel Unit) in regards to upcoming events.
• Obtain weather information of all locations where air assets is planned to fly and inform Aircraft and flight following or duty oficer at the headquarters about any changes in weather conditions of planned locations.
• Checks that all aircrafts within my responsibility are refueled after mission is ended for the day, parking is safe and crew is briefed about the task for the next day.
• Brief crew when required to fly at night in case of emergency especially medical evacuation.
• Plan night flying for crew proficiency, brief new crews upon arrival about our concept of operations and area of responsibility
• Carry out planned logistical support flights as the focal contact for the elections and referendum of Sudan and South Sudan.
