Joined Herfy Food Services Company Ltd. in 1997, a leading company in Bakery and Fast Food Restaurant Chain, as a Production Supervisor for their Riyadh Plant, at present Looking after the Abha Plant of Herfy Bakery. Herfy is the leading bakery and Fast Food Restaurant Chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to introduce a fully automatic and computerized PLC controlled production line from USA (BakeTech Bread and Bun Line) for Bread, Hamburger and Hot Dog Rolls along with Croissant & Arabic Bread Line.

Herfy operates in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to cater to the Saudi Market along with GCC for its strong chain of 220 Restaurants and to the local Saudi Market. Ever since its inception in 1982 it has been one of the most sought after Bakery and Restaurant chain for people across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
➢ Management of the Herfy Bakery Abha with the emphasis on bottom lines.
➢ Taking proactive steps towards maintaining a fool proof production planning and control system.

➢ To manage and motivate a team of supervisors, technicians and multinational workforce.

➢ Control and effectively use production capacity

➢ Plan and schedule the production to minimize losses.

➢ Prepare annual/periodic production plan/budget based on sales projections and inputs.

➢ Coordinate with procurement department for timely procurement of raw materials.

➢ Prepare production plans/schedules and related documents.

➢ Suggest/implement new production processes.

➢ Manage the supervisors of the section to sustain and continuously improve the efficiencies.

➢ Provide expert support when needed to resolve the product technical issues in the section.

➢ Ensure that the yield and efficiencies of the section to meet agreed standards.

➢ Implementing standard operating procedures in the production process.
➢ Excellent knowledge of bakery ingredients, processing, formulation, equipment, product evaluation and technical knowledge.

➢ Co- ordinate with various departments, schedules, products and manpower to ensure the production in the plant runs smoothly.

➢ Check throughout shifts to ensure that proper methods and procedures are being used and that quality, safety and sanitation standards are met.

➢ Provide assistance in forecasting changes and demands, resolving production and manpower problems.
➢ Provide orientation and training as required to ensure effective and efficient work force.

➢ Overseeing the equipment installation and automation
➢ Enforce the compliance to company's established quality standards.
