Asset/Fleet management of marine vessels, plant & assets comprising of crane / excavator /
accommodation barges, tugs, cargo barges, SPBs, multi-cats
• Commercial tendering, estimating, contracting & management of cost control & profitability of Plant &
Fleet to meet business objectives
• Techno-commercial management of Dry-docking & Afloat Repairs of entire fleet vessels
• Budget preparation, plan and execution of the vessel upgrade in line with project requirements
• Manage & resolve the challenges involved in logistics, supply, service throughout GCC region for the
marine spread
• Manager & custodian for the Overseas AST Marine Maintenance base for the mobilization of the marine
spread for Overseas AST & External marine construction projects
• Auditing and Safety management system implementation in marine fleet and workshop
• Lead team of onshore workforce for the maintenance base and onboard crew for the tugboats, speed-
boats

Complete techno-commercial management of fleet of tugboats, flat top barges, spud barges & self-
propelled barges
• Mobilization & preparation of ships and barges for major clients like ADNOC, Archirodon, Boskalis, HHI,
Daewoo, AST, NMDC, MEO etc. for offshore projects and deep sea towage
• Complete Techno-Commercial mgt of Dry-docking and Afloat Repairs of AHTs, tugs, barges, SPBs
• Maintain vessels i.a.w IACS/IMO rules, Flag State regulations & ISO certification standards
• Commercial functions including Contract Negotiation, Formulation and Budget management
• Internal Auditing & safety management as per company policy & directives
• Implementation of planned maintenance system for optimum maintenance of machinery
• Selection & evaluation of Engine room

Technical management for a fleet of AHTs & OSVs operating in GCC & African waters
• Coordinate with Classification societies & Flag States to ensure statutory validity
• Undertake Tech Inspections to ensure maximum availability of vessels for operations
• Inventory control and budgeting for management of expenses for all vessels
• Manage technical documentation, vessel certification and records

• As Yard Engineer planned & executed detailed Docking specs for ship’s Mid-life refit & repair
• Constant liaison with OEMs, consultants & vessel builders to resolve technical matters
• Planning & analysis of Yard infrastructure for modification, equipment commissioning etc.
• As Chief Engineer supervised operation & maintenance of gas based plant & associated systems
• As Chief Engineer carried out O & M of diesel generators, compressors, pumps and ship systems
• Spearheaded relief and rescue operations as per government orders along the coastal areas
• Motivate men to give their best for the nation & ensure assets are always ready for emergency deployment
