Responsibilities:
Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate
action in a timely manner.
Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes
and statutory requirements and international best practice.
Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved
drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental
issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk
assessments.
Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are
readily available for inspection as and when required.
Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and nonconformance
reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
Check and ensure effective co-ordination between disciplines related works and all other
disciplines.
Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that
may arise
Reviewed and evaluated specifications of electrical equipment and works proposed by
electrical suppliers and contractors.
Responsible for inspecting the installation of electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring and ensure they comply with electrical codes and standards. Visits construction sites and residences, performs inspection, and makes recommendations for improvement.

Examine electrical systems and equipment.
Inspect new and existing wiring, accessories, lighting, sound and security systems, motors, and generating equipment.
Inspect the installation of the electrical wiring for heating and air-conditioning systems, appliances, and other components.
Keep records and write reports.
Report findings to contractors.
Report violations.
Stop construction of non-compliant installations.
Examine and inspect wire harnesses, control panels, coaxial cables, armored cables and electrical boards, for completeness of assembly, quality, and conformance to blueprints.
Inspect wiring of assemblies for accuracy of stripping, soldering, and crimping and for defects.
Look for frayed wires and loose connections.
Compile inspection reports.
Write up recommendations for improvement.
Verify wire and cable length.
Examine parts and assemblies.
Preparation of Technical Shop Drawings.
Quantity & Quality Analysis for Material Procurement.
Coordination with Client and Consultant.
Coordination with higher management about site works.
Assistance to QS for Preparation of Measurement Sheets & Bills.
Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups at site.
Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates with mechanical and civil groups.
Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all electrical groups at site.
Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Electrical groups at site.
Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
Ensuring the Health & Safety Procedures
Making BOQ and estimation of Project.
Preparation of Technical Shop Drawings.
Quantity & Quality Analysis for Material Procurement.
Develop budget, estimating labor, material, and construction cost.
Execution& Installation Works as per Project Standards, and Specifications.
Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract.
Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
Attend projects meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
Manage Subcontractor works and point out any technical deviation.
Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
