1. Liaise between various functions along the Lubricants Supply Chain in developing production plans to maintain optimum stock levels and satisfy market requirements.
2. Co-ordinate stock indenting and execute timely deliveries of lubricants direct to customers, upcountry depots and re-sellers.
3. Enforce business controls and manage losses within allowable limits (± 0.01% for base oils & additives and Nil for packed products & empty packages)
4. Manage the Lubricants Product Costing Model at LOBP/Plant Level.
5. Prepare LOBP Revex budget and exercise vigilance to keep expenses within budget
6. Optimize plant operations, co-ordinate maintenance plans and ensure compliance with the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) and ISO 9001 standards
7. Develop staff through guidance, coaching and motivating to maximize performance.
8. Disseminate all Group HSE requirements to staff & contractors and play a key role in demonstrating commitment through compliance and implementation of the annual HSE plan.
9. Participate in commissioning of new laboratory, LOBP filling machines, additive DDU, plastic mold machines.
10. Participate in asset registration with finance team and external auditor.
11. Prepare and advice blending compatibility matrix.
12. Focal point for the communication with all local authorities and premise owner Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON), and insure that LOBP is met their requirements.
13. Insure that the plant is complying with all local laws and regulations of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, like Presidency of Meteorology and Environment etc.

• Implementation of Petronas Lubricant International Main quality policies & overall goals.
• Manage all activities related to quality control in the plant including testing, checking inspection for different materials used for production process, insure that all semi & finished products are delivered on specs.
• Complete quality manual of the plant by copying Engen quality manual, customize and translate whenever necessary, complete lab working procedure.
• Retention of ISO 9001 & 14001& QIMS management & upgrading
• Coordinate HSE activities as HSE focal person.
• Participate in HSE MS
• Develop plan & execute toolbox meeting, to improve awareness on HSE .
• Participate in new lab project implementation.
• Acting as Lube Oil Blending Plant Manager and when he is not available.

• Achieving strategic objectives of the Libya Oil Sudan Company.
• Implementation of Libya Oil Sudan Ltd. Main quality policies & overall goals.
• Defining the general stewardship of the Quality Management Procedures.
• Preparing and advice blends formulations for lubricants for LOBP.
• Carring out relevant tests to ensure that the lubricants produced by the LOBP, comply with the requirements of Libya Oil standards.
• Conducting quality assurance tests for Base Oils, additives, and imported finished products, as per standards.
• Maintaining updated quality standards e.g. ASTM, IP, etc.
• Maintaining up-to-date quality records for inputs, blends and finished lubes as per standards.
• Maintaining documented procedures for all quality assurance activities and equipment handling in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
• ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor.
• Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is in a perfect operating condition and are periodically calibrated as outlined in Lube manufacturing manual.
• Maintaining an optimum working stock of chemicals at the laboratory.
• Conducting used oils analysis and report on condition to customers.
• Ensuring that the work done at the laboratory is conducted within the HSE standards set by the company.
• Ensuring the availability & distribution of updated MSDS.
• Custodian of emergency plan inside the lab.
• Ensuring the availability and the wear of PPE of all staff in the LOBP.
• Ensuring safe disposal of waste generated by the lab.
• Conduct environmental measurements for gases, vapors inside the lab.
• Ensuring that, within the LOBP, the stocks of finished products, base oils and additives are stored and handled according to the company’s storage and handling guidelines.
• Acting as Lube Oil Blending Plant Manager and Area sales manager when he/she is not available.

• Beside the responspilites, tasks and duties performed by me in the first position, in the second position I did the following.
• Complying with Global (SGBP) Shell General Business Principles.
• Emphasizing the proper implementing of Shell (LQS) Lubricant Quality System, which include the lubricant formulation, standard methods, base oil standards & additive standards.
• Complying with Shell Global operating activities, which include select and storage material, Lube-oil blending, filling, bulk load, product identification and tractability, and laboratory activities.

• Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is in a perfect operating condition and are periodically calibrated as outlined in Lube manufacturing manual.
• Conducting used oils analysis and report on condition to customers.
• Doing the preventive maintenance for all laboratory equipments.
• Maintaining an optimum working stock of chemicals at the laboratory.
• Ensuring that all laboratory equipment is in a perfect operating condition and are periodically calibrated as outlined in Shell LQS.
• Acting as Quality Assurance chemist when he/she is not available.
