Roles and Responsibilities: • Attending technical queries from global customers and providing them initial support.

• Preparation of RFQ for all instruments and Vendor drawing review.

• Prepare instrumentation deliverable drawings viz. Instrumentation list, I/O List, P&ID, BID, control write-up and functional description pertaining to project specific requirement.

• Assist to prepare technical specifications for electrical and instrumentation items.

• Preparation of data sheets for all valves, transmitters and primary elements.

• Participate in standarization of products engineering and take part in order executions.

FLSmidth Applications: • Initial support on technical problems related to automation queries includes ECS (scada system, ACESYS and QCX (Quality control expert) related issues and remote support through BOMGAR application.

• Knowledge about overall Cement Process and other automation products in FLSmidth.

• Configuration of Report card which is used to monitor KPI's of the various systems to know about the operational excellence of a product or a piece of machinery.

• Installation of Cisco Firewall ASA5505 and McAfee Antivirus to supervise the customer systems in FLSmidth ePO server.

• Secomea configuration with PLC's in site manager and controlling the device status in gate manager.

• CRM Knowledge; Creating opportunities for spares and leads, reporting about the proposals and coordinating with the customers for spares and services requests.

• Documentation of Technical queries reported and Coordinate with the activities of specialist and follow up with customer till priority cases are resolved.

• Support for FLS Entities - Automation (Global), PFister, MAAG gear, CSD, Karara (Australia), and Airtech products.

• To send quarterly reports to various sites and documentation of all the technical issues into knowledge database.



PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers): Siemens: S7 300- Microwin32, Simatic.
AB (Allen Bradley): RXLogix500/SLC500, MicroLogix.
Basic knowledge in technical troubleshooting of PLC's.
SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition): Wonder ware in touch (Version 9.5) - Creating Database and Interfacing PLC with SCADA.
