Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network for routing protocols (OSPF, EIRGP, BGP), switching protocols (STP, RSTP, VLAN, VTP), code upgrade for network devices and operating system updates for servers. Troubleshoot network infrastructure using PRTG, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Prime, and Cisco DCNM. Working in Cisco Catalyst 4500, 3500, 3850, 3900, 6500, 9200, 9300 and 9500 and Nexus 7K, 5K, 3K and Fabric Extender 2K and ASR 1K and 9K. Working in the SD-Wan network and devices. Working in Cisco Hyperflex and UCS 200 using Cisco IMC and VMware with Windows Server 2012 and 2019 or Linux Servers on them. Working in Cisco ASA Firewalls and services like Firewall rules and ACL, Site-to-Site VPN, Client-to-Site VPN, DMVPN and IPsec Tunnels
Troubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the network for routing protocols (OSPF, EIRGP, RIP, BGP, ISIS) and switching protocols (STP, RSTP, VLAN, VTP).Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure using SolarWinds, Splunk, SiteScope, NetScout, NetBrain, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and Cisco Transport. Troubleshoot VPN users complains using Pulse Secure, Multi-factor authentication, and Kiwi log messages. Manage IP network assets and inventory, DNS, DHCP, IP address management by using Infoblox.
Managing, doing acceptance and participating in Zain network related projects implementation, controlling and monitoring their execution. Provisioning circuits cross connection and L2 PWE3 and IPVPN L3 services for Zain new sites, services and sites expansions. Creating ATM, TDM and Ethernet L2 PWE3. Adding devices and troubleshoot network infrastructure using SolarWinds, Splunk, SiteScope. Creating IPVPN L3 services, RSVP and LDP tunnels.
Proactive monitoring and management of the SDH, DWDM, IP, PDH, Ethernet, MPLS L2 & L3, network synchronization equipment (GPS) Microwave and Fiber Optic transmission network. Operation and maintenance of multi vendors Transmission Equipment and management systems. Managing, controlling, and evaluating vendors and contractors activities, performance and Support Mechanism as per agreed SLAs. Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure using SolarWinds, Splunk, SiteScope. Investigating, supporting for problem solving and handling, of all assigned troubleshooting tickets from internal and external customers.
Ensuring continuous 24/7 network supervision of all nodes and segments by carrying out all regular routines and preventive maintenance activities. Providing 1st line O&M including accurate and timely problem remedy, escalation, and resolution of any failures in the shortest possible time and within set reaction and remedy time targets applicable to various fault categories. Following up on remedial efforts until closure of the trouble ticket or NMC shift handover. Informing affected parties of network service outages and degradations, their extent and anticipated duration, as well as of eventual remedy.
