* Overseeing electrical and mechanical aspects of Siemens 3.6MW and 2.3MW turbines while working on four sites - Walney Offshore Wind Farms, Barrow-In-Furness, Burbo Banks Offshore Wind Farm, Liverpool, Gunfleet Sands Offshore Wind Farm, and Essex and Nysted Offshore Wind Farm, DK.
* Playing the role of a Siemens Authorised level 7 Lead Technician at Walney 1 and 2 wind farms since 2012.
* Leading teams of technicians including Level 7, Level 4 and apprentice technicians as well as senior approved personnel, and liaising with HV team and contract company personnel.
* Acting as incharge for servicing and maintenance of turbines, SWA - fault finding, troubleshooting and replacement of electrical and mechanical parts and turbine upgrades including converter systems and updating SMPS cards and CAN I/O boards.
* Working alongside senior approved personnel for safely setting the job with correct AWP documentation to carry about high voltage work.
* Completing all paperwork including time sheets, work orders, AWPs and work permits.
* As a safety supervisor serving as the point of contact for providing health and safety information to field technicians, including hazardous observations and near misses.
* Handled a major component exchange job while working on a jack-up rig - Pacific Osprey.
* As a client representative coordinated with the Siemens Heavy Lift Team for preparing turbine for safe removal of gear box and overseeing safe lifting operations of the exchange.
* Performing safety checks on personnel, vessel, turbine and lifting equipment and rectifying issues hindering safety, in accordance with method statements and work permits.
