Material /Equipment proposal, design of mechanical system and initiate preparation of work shop drawings.
•Ensuring proper installations of water supply, drainage, fire fighting & Hvac services are done as per the approved design drawings, method statements and project specifications.
•Preparation and control of materials/equipments and artisans.
•Monitor drawings/material/work conformance s with provisions as per specification /DEWA /Civil Defense and other authorities.
•To assist and coordinate with QS and planning engineers for updating service progress
•To advice on any impact on services caused by architectural changes and raise query to main contractor & Consultant.
•Preparation of letters for correspondence with the main contractor and others in liaison with Project Manager.
•Coordination with consultant and client for stage wise inspection on completed work.
•Ensuring all concealed works are completed satisfactorily and accepted by consultant before clearing it for civil and further finishing.
•Preparation of site requisitions for materials required for the project.
•Communicating with various vendors and getting the required materials delivered at site
•Carrying out the inspection of the materials, completed works along with pressure test /air test /gravity test and placing them for consultant approval.
•Preparing weekly and monthly reports of MIRs, WIRs, Work progress reports and daily manpower allocations.
•Initiation of quantity off and procurement of major materials required for the project.
•Monitoring proposals and drawing submittals against the scheduled programmes for project.
•Monitoring of monthly invoices for all projects for timely submission with proper percentages for work done and materials on site and ensuring payment receipt.
•Carrying out Mechanical Board closure inspection and getting approval from consultant
• Issuing service clearance to the main contractor upon completion of MEP works. Issuing civil clearance forms in order to start MEP works.
• Ensure that company HSE policies are implemented at site in coordination with HSE Dept.
Over all Project planning and execution
