Developing sustainable building services designs on numerous major projects such as commercial, residential, tall tower, Infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
Researching, planning, designing and developing sustainable mechanical systems for HVAC Systems.
Prepare mechanical calculations for System design.
Evaluating and analysing statistical data, customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Evaluating design drawings and calculations for HVAC system and mechanical systems to satisfy target requirements throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction.
Working knowledge of various building services design codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, NBC and other International design codes.
Interfacing and working with clients in a professional manner to achieve project goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Handling all post order processing activities like Design Review (Heating & Cooling Load Calculation, Copper Pipe Sizing for VRF System, Chilled & Condenser Water PIPE Sizing and Routing, Pump Head Calculation, Duct Designing & HVAC air flow routing.
•Preparation of Comparison sheets (Technical & Commercial) for different materials (Valves, Pipes, Ducting etc.), equipment’s (AHU, Chiller, FCU, Cooling Tower etc.)
•Preparing detailed engineering drawings with all necessary sections, elevations, plant room details, ducting, piping etc.
•Providing effective planning/scheduling functions on projects in accordance with clients/company policies, procedures, specifications, and project baseline.
•Receive tender drawings of HVAC system and prepare shop drawings and submit to consultant for approval.
•Study the drawing and feasibility of installation.
•Submit request of inspection to consultant for Duct Light Test/Smoke Test, Pressure test for chilled water pipe line and inspection of equipment installation.
•Implement of safety norms.
•Study the bar chart, monitor the progress of work and update.
•Final measurement entry and passing bills.
•Interacting with sub-contractors for pushing site activities, coordinating with installation crew of Major Equipment like Chillers, AHUs, Pumps and other components for smooth execution and completion of work on or before stipulated time schedule.
•Measurement of Items erected at site, Preparation of variations & approval.
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
•Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
•Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
•Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
•Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
•Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
•Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Designing & Installation of HVAC system comprising 12Hp Daikins VRV System with Wall Mounted indoor units of Capacities 1.32TR (2 Units), 0.82TR (6 Units) and 1.65TR (3 Units), Indoor & Outdoor Pipe sizing, Piping Insulation & Refnet selection with proper standards.
Space Tower Office Area, Calicut
Designing & Installation of Ductable Air Handling system accordingly to ASHRAE standards with a total of 5800 CFM is being installed. An Air handling system of units 3400 CFM (1 unit), 1000 CFM (1 unit) and 800 CFM (2 units) with an VAV system is installed.
