•Ensure compliance to company HSE policies and safe work procedures.
•Ensure strict compliance with Clients and Government HSE and Environment requirements.
•Reports directly to the Managing Director on HSE issues.
Duties and responsibilities includes, but not limited to
•To conduct daily walkthrough inspections, cautioning unsafe acts and closing out unsafe conditions observed.
•To conduct safety training, induction, HSE meetings, toolbox talks and HSE committee meeting.
•To conduct/supervise fire and emergency drill exercises.
•Periodic inspection of fire extinguishers, first aid boxes and lifting equipment to meet required standard.
•Develop HSE policies and HSE target plan, its review, update and accomplishment.
•To conduct accident/incident investigation, reporting and recommendations.
•To conduct in house HSE Audits, follow up and close out all non-conformance.
•Issue permit to work, monitor compliance to permit, inspect work in progress and closing out of permit to work.
•Develop Job safety analysis and hazard risk assessment in Remm operation.
•Responsible for setting and achieving the budget for the HSE department.
