The work includes the refurbishing such as replacement of old sewerage system and flooring etc.
Check the excavation and levels of floors prior to concreting and calculation of concrete quantity.
Check on the quality of materials.
Supervise and manage the site activities.
Dealing with the client and other sub-contractors.
Worked on Bagh City Development and Infrastructure project, including buildings, roads, bridges and storm water drainage.
Visit to the construction sites and supervised the execution of work according to the drawings and specifications.
Prior to the construction make a survey of the sites and locate the modules in the suitable place according the site condition.
Checked the geological reports of the sites and select the required footing depth and type.
Make a check on the quality of the materials used and make material testing as required according to the standards.
Make a check on the concrete quality of footings, columns, beams and slabs during execution and other activities including brick works, plastering etc. and make checks on the material testing of truss works.
Check the asphalt mix design and quality of aggregates in roads.
In case of any issues regarding to the site construction or design details in drawings informed to the related authority and discuss and solved them.
Monitoring the progress on sites by checking daily progress reports to make sure the project should be completed within the required time period.
Make sure about the health and safety conditions at the sites.
Check and verify the contractor’s bills, according to the BOQ and specifications.
Executed and supervised the construction works according to the drawings and specifications.
Site management included dealing with sub-contractors and labors and does a thorough check on their daily performance.
Making daily progress reports and submitted to the related authority.
Make Orders and receiving the delivery of the site materials and making sure about their proper storage.
Make a check on the quality of the construction works, including concreting of beams, columns and slabs, block works, plastering, tile works, plumbing works, electricity works, painting works and finishing works.
Prepared and submitted bills and verified from the client.
Performed analysis and design of different types of concrete and steel structures included houses, hospitals, schools, colleges, hangars, warehouses, huts, and retaining walls.
Use structural designing software STAAD Pro according to BS and ACI codes.
Performed analyses of the structures against differences forces.
Prepared design calculations and detailing using AutoCAD.
Prepared construction drawings and verified the design from the local building authority.
Keep in contact with site engineers and make regular site visits as required in case of any issues regarding the design.
My Dissertation was “Computational Modelling and Analysis of Steel Lintel Beams”: The project deals with the computer analysis of a steel lintel beam by using the ANSYS software.
My dissertation was “Analysis and Design of a Reinforced Concrete Structure” using software STAADPro, ACI codes, Uniform Building Code (UBC) 1997
