SUMMER INTERNSHIP: Company: SMV Beverages Jamshedpur Project title: Market penetration and distribution channel to accelerate sales Details: • Job entailed working under the Territory Development Manager in league with the customer executives, this involved outlet development. • Getting the daily orders, from the existing and new dealers, communicating schemes to the distributors, introducing & implementing the Pepsi Carbonated/non-carbonated drinks. • The program was aimed at sales promotion through attractive offers in the enrolled popular and premium eateries, convenience and grocery. • Market survey to find out the market share of Pepsi v/s Coke and studied the sales & distribution system of SMV Beverages which is the backbone of its success. • Project involved understanding the overall marketing activities of SMV Beverages. Duration: Two months Achievements: • Exceeded sales targets by 100 % three times in a short span of two month. • Cracked two cases i.e. Coca-Cola outlet into Pepsi exclusive outlet. • Accolade as a best summer trainee by our external guides.
