 Responsible to control full automatic lines for Bread, Buns & Rolls like Warner & Pfleiderer / AMF Line efficiently.
 Production of high quality of bread products which meet agreed product specification, quality and hygiene standards.
 Maintenance of a continuous supply of products of the specified quality on a timely basis.
 Control of production costs, and overheads within agreed budgeted limits.
Maintenance of a safe and healthy work place, by minimizing risk and elimination of hazards to product and people’s safety through the implementation of a structured safety management regime.
 Manage the processing of raw and the manufacture and packing of product in a high volume automated processing.
 Conduct regular production meetings, to promote good communications, provide technical guidance and workable solutions to problems.
 Maintain a clean and safe plant.
 As part of an overall continuous improvement process to lead/e various initiatives with a view to improving or exiting service, quality, cost parameters.
 Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
 Responsible for plant production goals.
 Confer with departments heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, engineering and dispatch.
 Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
 Develop the skills of subordinates.
 Conduct employee performance review.
 Responsible for the product quality control for the plant.
 Monitor on going capital expenditure requirements, and prepare justification as necessary.
Contribute to new product development /quality improvement debates.
 Liaise with dispatch, sales, cold store, and transport to ensure effective and efficient management of the dispatch of products.
 Submit on daily and monthly basis reports to Management regarding production amounts, and variance (if any) to forecasted production amount with explanation.
