Presently working in Dar Al-Khaleej Press, which includes the following Publications;

Al-Khaleej (Arabic) One of the largest Published daily Arabic newspaper in UAE; The Gulf Today (Daily English), Kul-al-Usrah (Weekly Family Magazine), Al-Shuruq (Weekly Political Magazine), Al-Athkia ( Monthly Children Magazine) and Al-Eqtisadi (Weekly Business).

As Deputy Manager IT, I hold the responsibilities to look after the following for the whole group;

1- Managing and supporting a huge computer network of more than 500 computers of different types like e.g. Apple Macintosh and Windows platform HP Compaq computers. The network consist of Cisco and HP switches with Apple & Dell Blade Servers using Windows 2K, 2003, and 2008 Servers.

2- Supervising and managing all the Prepress workflow of the newspaper from the Editorial, Page Designing, Page Layout (QaurkXpress & In-design), PDF Conversion, Impositioning and XMF workflow upto CTP (Computer to Plate ) production at Fuji Luxell CTPs.

3- Managing Microsoft IIS, FTP, Exchange server 2003, Print Servers, SAN, NAS servers, RAS & WinGate Proxy Servers. Cisco PIX Firewall, SonicWall, Baracuda Spam Firewall, Broadband DSL and Dedicated Leased Line routers.

4- Trouble-shooting and dealing with the daily users hardware, software & network issues and problems.

5- Configuring and installation of TCP/IP, Internet and e-mail accounts for users.

6- Configuring and managing the Inter-Connectivity of Apple Macintosh Clients and Windows workstations.

7- Conducting Trainings for the Technical and Editorial Staff.

8- Procurement of IT hardware, software and maintenance products & services. Manage the IT budgets and expenditure on hardware and software

Manager Operations at Hyper Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.

Joined the company as a Computer Hardware Engineer holding the responsibilities of component level repairs, maintenance and trouble shooting of Apple Macintosh, Compaq and IBM compatible computers and networks. After one year I was promoted to Manager Systems holding the responsibilities of supervision the repairs and maintenance as well as the installation and designing the networks on Mac OS and Novell NetWare over the Local Talk & Ethernet cabling using Hubs and Switches.
As a Manager Operations I was looking after the technical support department which includes the Hardware as well as Software support teams.
The Hardware team was responsible of the repairs, maintenance trouble shooting of computers, printers and other peripherals as well as the installation of cabling of networks.
The Software team was responsible of installation of operating systems, Mac OS as well as Windows NT and Novell NetWare, and to support and solve the operational and system level problems of the clients

Being a production engineer I supervised the production, Assembly, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and final testing of;
1. EPABX (Electronic Private Automatic Branch

Locally manufactured 3+8, 6+16 and 32+100.

2. CCTV System. (Closed Circuit T V Systems).
Since the Native Enterprises are the manufacturers.
We had experienced the following in detail;

* Pinpoint configuration about the waveforms
and voltage levels using the oscilloscope at
different points on the PCB boards.
* Computerized IC testing.
* Component level repairs.

* Testing of different modules like SLICs
(Subscriber line interface cards).
