I function in collaboration with contractors for ensuring the implementation of HSSE and internal guidelines. I organise and chair regular site planning and coordination meetings with OOCEP staff. I resolve operational staff issues in a timely manner through demonstrating exceptional leadership and management proficiencies. I create and deliver communication reports to all levels of management for supporting in informed decision making.
Following are the highlights of the value I brought:
☛ Oversaw field operation for Block 60 and achieved predefined KPI’s, including plant uptime by more than 99 %, preventive maintenance by 98.34 %, corrective maintenance by 99.87 %, zero LTI and high potential incidents, PTW audit, and flaring volume average of 0.225 mmscf/d.
☛ Spearheaded the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, including RO Plant Project: managed operating of RO plant partially due to operational requirements and management commitments, Crude Oil Offloading Project: commissioned and operated by O&M team.
☛ Monitored O&M team performance, assessed training needs, and delivered required resources for attaining individual and corporate goals. Delivered executive leadership to teams for drilling 15 new production wells.

• Dexterously managed a $0.5 - 2M budget. Drove the budget control process, evaluated the financial performance against budgets, followed-up for significant variances and examined the discrepancy to find the underlying cause of the variance.

• Spearheaded the Operations Support Department, dexterously enhanced organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organizations operations functions.

• Generated standards drawings for effective and efficient way of protecting and operating the GTF. Established procedures, standards, specifications etc. related to the department.

• Responsible for guaranteeing Operations and Maintenance at all facilities across the region are in compliance with laws and regulations of the Government of Oman, rules and regulations of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, recognized industry standards and established Quality and HSE procedures & policies.
• Led a team divided in 2 shifts: 4 supervisors (2 Operation & 2 Maintenance) with 46 technicians, 2 administrators and 4 Security guards.
• Directed, administered and controlled the day to day operations, maintenance and emergency response of the pipeline system and all terminals, stations, equipment sites, offices, workshops, warehouses, storage and other company owned facilities within the specified region:
-length of 480 KM south gas pipeline condition
-13 block valve stations (BVS)
-2 fiscal metering stations (supplying gas to OGC clients: PDO & Oxy companies in Mukhaizna area)
- one Gas compressor station (Boosting the pressure to 90 barg discharge in the existing 24’’ NIMR- Salalah gas pipeline for Salalah OGC customers: Dhofar power, Raysut cement, Raysut industrial estate, OCTAL at Salalah, SMC plant and Mirbat power plant).
• Ensured public safety and gas deliverability by maintaining the functionality and integrity of the Company’s facilities: Gas Compressor station, Gas Supply Stations, Block Valve Station and 18"/24"/36" Hi pressure live gas pipelines.
• Established annual regional Operations and Maintenance budget, supervised budgetary control initiatives for regional operations and implemented best practices for spend optimization.
• Focused on constantly enhancing operability, reliability, safety and integrity of facilities and operations and provide written feedback to the Management.
• Demonstrated expertise in resolving complicated Operations and Maintenance issues and concerns with customers, service and supply companies, sub-contractors and the public at large.

• Responsible for all maintenance functions for Main Gas supply station (GSS), 7 BVS stations and 3 FISCAL metering stations.
• Involved in Main Gas supply station expansion project during
construction commissioning: new Process control/Safeguarding system
(Honeywell DCS-C300), Flow metering supervisory computer system (i-
System), UPS system (BOORI), HVAC system, Water bath heaters, Odorant
unit, Gas Filter Separators, Instrument Gas Vessel, flaring system and new
FISCAL metering station for Methanol plant (SMC).
• Coordinated the demolition work in Main Gas supply station: Civil,
Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation. Example: ABB Control system
panels, Electrical Heaters with control panel, Gas Filter Separators, associated
piping and Elect/Instr Cables.
• Rectified an oil leakage in 24” gas pipeline ESD valve actuator.
• Served as Emergency Response Manager during 24" live Hi pressure gas
pipeline split tee welding activity on the Salalah - Sahirawl gas pipeline for the
new water/power plant.
• Created customer-focused environment. Liaised with key clients including Salalah OGC clients: Dhofar power, Raysut cement, Raysut industrial estate, OCTAL at Salalah, SMC plant and Mirbat power plant, to foster customer service relationship.

a. Demolition: ABB process control system, Electrical Heaters with control panel, Gas Filter Separators, associated piping and Elect/Instr Cables.
b. Construction and commission: new Process control/Safeguarding system (Honeywell-C300 / SMS SYSTEM), Flow metering supervisory computer system (i- System), UPS system (BOORI), HVAC system, Water bath heaters, Odorant unit, new Gas Filter Separators, Instrument Gas Vessel, flaring system.
• Commissioned new PRT (Pressure Reduction Terminal) and FISCAL metering station for Salalah Methanol Company (SMC).
Accomplishments:
• Accredited with Nimr Shukran/ Roar reward for a technical FCP proposal to resolve and prevent a big deferment in Amal Oil Gathering Station.
• Successful scheduled process shutdown as planner and leader of instrumentation maintenance activities for ALNOOR Oil/Gas Production Station.
• Bestowed with Outstanding achievement reward for resolving major problems with Hydraulic Power Unit (FRAM products) and successfully commissioning the whole automation & control systems in Al-Noor HP OilGas wells, resulting early oil production as well as optimizing production.
