Accountable for managing PCE participation in PI quality proficiency schemes and maintaining successful results as to assure people competency and accuracy in monitoring and reporting products’ quality parameters.
Support MENA region required testing activities and act as the center of excellence for product and material testing.
Drive product sensory as designed and reflection of consumer response to sustain brand preference.
Champion the knowledge transfer process of microbiology and sensory and act as the SME within PCE.
Lead the implementation of the “In Plant Sensory Program” within PCE plants and expert panels development.
Ensure full compliance to the PI Sensory Management Guidelines.
Manage ingredients and material testing account spending and forecast control.
Support PCE plants identifying their annual lab equipment/supplies requirements and provide the required resources to maintain adequate levels of supplies to ensure continuity of laboratory operations.
Manage regular process inspection and data analysis to provide early warning of potential product safety and quality issues to the operations team.
Champion the consumer feedback management process and oversee foreign objects elimination program in both plants and DC’s.
Assure proper response and reporting of customer/consumer complaints regarding product quality and safety and assure proper CAP closure.
Monitor materials performance and minimize related downtime to boost efficiency and maximize assets utilization. Troubleshoot packaging and manufacturing related problems to find solutions and eliminate reoccurrence.
Provide technical direction and guidance to solve technical raw and packaging materials issues and assure actions closure from the supplier side.
Provide technical guidance to assure packaging equipment operation at least possible efficiency levels.
Accountable for providing required testing with in the qualification process of new lines, new raw & packaging materials including new water sources and treatment units.
Assure that all raw and packaging materials are purchased within specifications and from approved suppliers.
Ensure all raw & packaging materials analysis at central / plants/ supplier / external lab are conducted to assure materials compliance to PI specs.
Act as the packaging technical testing expert in PCE and build analysis capabilities for all plants labs. Lead building the technical packaging capability in central lab and plants labs to assure proper packaging materials testing and evaluation.
Supervise the implementation of packaging quality tool (PQT) across plants.
Audit suppliers’ labs to assure effectiveness of Certificate of Analysis/Compliance (COA/COC).
Ensure that all plants are receiving packaging materials within specs. and adequate storage conditions are met.
Effectively participate in all new products and packages launch in terms of line trails, materials qualification, shipping test, etc.
Manage and supervise product quality in the trade and in-market monitoring program to assure product integrity in the market.
Support marketing activities by providing support to the new art works for new product and package launches.
Manage glass bottles and crates testing and receiving process.
Support suppliers’ selection process for packaging and raw materials while developing criteria and makes recommendations to key internal stakeholders.
Lead secondary packaging quality tools, manuals and standard specifications development.
Assure compliance to PI minimum mandates regarding microbiological requirements, raw and packaging materials specs and sanitation standards.
Lead product lifecycle management process to address the ongoing quality, performance and cost.
Manage sanitation and deep cleaning program in manufacturing areas to assure proper hygienic conditions.
Manage production Bill of Materials “BOM” creation process.
Achieve the quality levels established production lines according to monthly results of CORK.
Coach the team to support with the other departments to achieve the productivity goal of the plant in a best quality way.
To achieve the program Manufacturing & Warehousing (M&W) objectives in terms of samples in the specifications.
Monitor the implementation of quality systems and procedures in place and new initiatives in my administration.
Continuous development of work procedures to reach a smooth and effective work methods.
Assessment of the production lines after repairs according to quality standards as part of the mandate and achieve CQV.
To ensure safe operation within the scope of my work.
Ensure production of a product is identical to the standards of food safety within the scope of my work.

A) Syrup Room:
Review end-of-run daily production report to management
SAP Knowledge.
Manage all syrup preparation technicians.
Responsible for training all syrup preparation technicians about the new products to be prepared on target values as mentioned in Beverage Formula.
Track all CIPs done for production lines and tanks and report it to the central quality on monthly basis.
Supervise the total performance done in the syrup room to comply with QAS and AIB.
Accurate screening for the availability of required raw material before each run.
Proper change-over and CIP management.
B) Water Treatment:
Order all chemicals needed to be consumed in water treatment units.
Manage all water treatment technicians.
Responsible for training all water treatment technicians about the new water treatment units which is newly installed in the plant.
Supervise the total performance done in the water treatment unit to comply with QAS and AIB.
Perform analytical tests in the quality control laboratories according to written procedure and recording the results.
Make all tests required as per PCE manuals to ensure the compliance of water against PepsiCo standards.
Make all tests required as per PCE manuals to ensure the compliance of Syrup preparation against PepsiCo standards.
Make all tests required as per PCE manuals for all chemical preparations.
Make periodically check for all chemicals used in chemical preparations to ensure that it is used within its validity date before it gets expired.
Make calibration for all laboratory equipment according their manuals.
Responsible for receiving raw material according to our production requirement.
Support QA by sharing as an auditor in the QA auditing team for all the company, customer compliant investigations and production failure investigations.
Responsible for making corrective action and troubleshooting the quality problems.
Test finished product and final package for quality parameters. Analyze and respond to results as needed. Initiate root cause analysis with team members to identify and implement corrective action.
Place all products and packages that fall outside quality ranges on hold for further testing or review.
Use analytical instrumentation such as Carbo-QC, Densitometer, pH meter, Refractometer, burst tester, top load tester, torque tester, secure seal tester, etc. as per its manuals.
Monitor and advice on all sanitization and hygiene procedures to ensure compliance to company standards and local authority standards.

Make all online testing to get ensured of best quality of the finished products as per standards
such as (Peel adhesion, Loop take test, Tensile strength, Sheer test, Shelf life test, etc.)
Make microbiological tests for finished products, producing machines and the environmental
working area for sterilized products.
Make microbiological tests to get ensure the effectiveness of sterilization.
Place all products and packages that fall outside quality ranges on hold for further testing or
review.
Responsible for making corrective action and troubleshooting the quality problems.
