- Plan, organize, evaluate estimations activities
- Establish the internal estimation strategy
- Generate and analyze production costs
- Consult the different departments as needed in order to have the best service offer
- With the help of the sales department, determines priorities
- Make sure to optimize the final price, the surplus inventory, the delivery time, the conformity to the expectations of the customer and the profitability of the company
- Complete the cost assessments of the different M2S manufacturing steps/faculties (assembly and engineering labor, manufacturing times, etc.)
- When necessary, communicate directly with customers to validate the requirements, specifications and propose changes, in order to achieve the target of cost, time and quality
- Provides support for the development and understanding of technical specifications
- Evaluate the feasibility and estimate the costs of the project
- Coordinate the activities and the project schedule (coordination between the different actors, phase planning, guarantee the respect of deadlines, quality, technical objectives and costs)
- Manage the progress of projects in charge and their allocated budgets
- Manage client directives, production resources and project amendments
- Facilitate coordination between customer, factory and suppliers
- Analyze supplier submissions and make recommendations
- Develop, propose and validate technical solutions
- Estimate the costs of the new solutions proposed
- Management of special equipment acquisition projects as needed as well as supporting documents for its study
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of version change requests for current products. - Be responsible for the documentation related to the projects in charge
- Ensure Productivity of developed products
- Creation and care of production manuals and documentation
- Coordination of workflow between different departments and different international subsidiaries.
- Fulfillment of management system requirements
- Fulfillment of product evolution process (PEP) activities for new projects as well as for series products
- Core team member of the PEP Project team and the person responsible for Industrialization of the total product
- Organization of changes in PEP-phases
- Responsible for project industrialization from design to production by ensuring the design of the process planning concept, tools, production facilities and equipments and workplaces specification and their acquisition
- Industrialization of the overall product and responsibility for scheduling, costs, and ensuring customer specifications
- Responsable for methods of production for wiring and harness systems
- Project leader for the new products since industrialisation till serial production
- Defining new methods and process and training concerned operators and teams
- Establishing lessons learned from products and demand changes of standards in orientation of continuous improvement.
