• Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.

Responsible for Communication and coordination with clients and resolving technical issues with both suppliers and Client also performing various inspection activities on site and at vendor facilities during manufacture, of tanks, Pipes, Valve, Structural Steel, Fittings and gaskets. Review of Inspection Test Plan and Material Verification, Final Visual, Dimensional & Painting Inspection. Review of Final Dossiers prior to acceptance of the product. Verification of vendor compliance to client requirements and specifications.
Responsibilities
• Conducting the inspection activities at vendor’s facility during fabrication & construction, at site during erection & installation.
• Perform all inspection activities on the material;
• Review the material test certificates according to the applicable code & standard;
• Review welding procedure specification, procedure qualification record and carries out qualification tests for welders and welding operators;
• Reviewing the inspection test plan, the quality plan, the engineering & workshop drawing;
• Perform all welding inspection activities, In-Process & Final Inspection;
• Check the condition of the welding equipment’s, inspection tools and the calibration certificates;
• Review all the Non-destructive testing procedures;
• Supervise and witness the Destructive & Non-destructive testing;
• Supervise and witness the Post Weld Heat Treatment, Hydrostatic & Pneumatic testing;
• Review the Post Weld Heat Treatment charts;
• Review all the inspection reports;
• Review the final documentation package;
• Perform Expediting activities and Identify and taking corrective action (with appropriate approval) to ensure the project for cycle time, cost, and quality are met.
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
• Hydro-test, plug/seat tightness, packing tightness and set pressure Witnessing.
• Review the blasting & painting procedure;
• Review the batch certificates;
• Supervise the surface preparation before cleaning & painting;
• Cleaning of surface prior to coating application according to SSPC;
• Check the weather condition, surface temperature & humidity before starting painting activities;
• Perform all sand blasting & painting inspection & testing activities.
• Review the certification & the historical record of all the lifting equipment & accessories & EC Declaration of Conformity.

Project Management / Expediting
• Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
