Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
(debt management, cash management, insurance coverage, investments)

Revenue Policies Formulation - I developed Standard payment policies.
and procedures, Revenue Acts, Regulations, Instructions, frameworks and
standing orders with regards to revenue mobilization efforts in Jubbaland
Revenue Policy and Analysis: monitor and forecast revenue collection,
periodic reviews of the tax policy framework, provide tax policy advice, and
participate in stakeholder discussion related to revenue issues

Allocation of duties to various units within the Revenue Directorate

Fiscal Policy Analysis and Reporting: provide tables and analyze historical

Economic Policy Analysis: analyze the implications of all proposed policy
changes in the country - such as financial policies - on the fiscal outlook;
Coordination: between FGS Directorate of Revenue and PREMIS regarding
Inter-governmental Revenue harmonization efforts
Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates,
assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
o Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR

Analyze financial data -to determine the correct amount of taxable income,
applicable deductions, and non-taxable expenses.
o Compliance- I followed up the taxpayers payment summary report to ensure
that the tax due has been fully paid as specified in the tax law .
o Communication - I communicate the taxpayers to remind their tax obligations
and educate them the available legislation
o Audit and Compliance Report - I prepare monthly and annual taxpayers audit
report and analyzed arrears payment
o Examine Financial Documents -I examine tax documents, receipts, and
financial records of all types to perform thorough audits. This includes traveling
to various businesses and individual clients to examine their tax records.
Ensure compliance by keeping statistical records on submitted returns daily.
Submit all complete work to Records Section for filing purposes. * Ensure all
