• Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layout, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to building codes, or specifications, legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Inspect qualities of materials, interior elements of building and finishes.
• Attend to all safety obligations relating to architectural and other staff, all construction parties, and clients, the public and professional colleagues.
• Interact with design consultants to ensure proper execution of work to project design documents and design intents.
• Provide direction to contractor on interpretation of construction documents.
• Inspect and monitor construction site to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and specifications.
• Conduct inspection of subcontractor’s work especially for critical and important inspections.
• Ensure that the project quality plan is implemented at all times during the stages of works to hand-over and commissioning.
• Prepare reports on daily activities and contractor progress.
