-Send routing and follow up with origin and update customer with status at all stages till shipment arrival
- Follow up with the carriers, forwarding agent and shipping lines for the status of shipment arrival, to ensure delivery to customer on time and on agreed conditions.
- Quote Agents & Customers for all import / export inquiries
- Co-ordinate and solve discrepancies / problem in documentation
- Co-ordinate with Local Distribution in arranging necessary for the smooth delivery of the consignment door to door
- Assists departmental staff on administrative task related to freight issues

- Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.

-Reply to accounts’ general questions/concerns related to shipments.
-Assist with accounts’ various ocean transportation needs.
-Process business correspondence (rate quotes, letters, service proposals, reports) .
-Responsible for maintaining customer relationships with the purchasing decision makers at key customers accounts as well as new customer accounts.
