♦ Manage all branch related activities - Sales, Operations, Transport, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Data Capture, Information Technology, Contact Centre and Administration
♦ Responsible for 270 employees whom operate at 13 Automotive Parts and Accessories facilities within the Johannesburg area
♦ Align operational processes to adhere with Customer expectations
♦ Identify and develop strategies around new business opportunities
♦ Retention of existing clients through service excellence and cost versus profit alignment
♦ Successful implementation of all new accounts and projects according to timelines
♦ Adherence to budget by managing monthly Profit and Loss statements
♦ Involved in Optimization projects that includes all resource management - Facilities, Routes, Fuel Consumption, Vehicle design, Shift design
♦ Driven by Key Performance Indicators such as On-time delivery, Customer Service Index, Financial Performance, Internal and External Audit Results
♦ Asset Management in terms of minor assets, The Financial Asset Register and Capital expenditure
♦ Authorized Signatory for all branch expenses
♦ Solely responsible for all activities that impact Corporate Identity and Corporate Governance
♦ Monitoring data management though the use of Business Intelligence
♦ Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost.
♦ Ensuring the personal safety and safe working environment of staff.
♦ Communicating needs & objectives to managers & key personnel in procurement, logistics & distribution.
♦ Negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency.
