Ministry of Civil Services wanted to manage some of its projects as programs and also to introduce portfolio management in the IT department. This was a big organizational change! Strategy alignment, governance, and risk management is now well established at MCS.
Achievements:
1. Established the IT PMO, including tools, processes, templates and training and coaching project managers
2. Introduced Program, Portfolio management processes and tools
3. Generating consolidated reports about projects, programs, and portfolios status, progress, and risk
4. A clear escalation procedure is now in place
Main responsibilities include:
• Managing various implementations of programs and projects in addition to ongoing operations for IT, Telecommunication, and Software development.
• Responsible for the management of the entire collection of projects undertaken by PMO department in a manner that ensures their alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Responsible for developing Program/Project documentation not limited to Program/Project Management Plan, Program/Project Approach, Program/Project Management Methodology, Program/Project Schedule, and Program/Project Organization Structure.
• Develop a high-level milestone plan using goals and objectives of the project, applicable historical information, and other available resources in order to align project with expectations of stakeholders.
• Responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects, and in many cases, ongoing operations which are directed toward a common objective.
• Responsible for estimating the costs and benefits of the projects in order to establish the program feasibility and obtain funding.
• Request authorization to proceed by presenting the project assessment for approval to the management authorities in order to initiate the projects.
• Establish alliances with other departments and external organizations by recognizing responsibilities and dependencies in order to assess potential partnerships and commitment to the program.
• Coordination with, and supervision of, sub-contractors to ensure their compliance with the MCS business requirements.
• Responsible for enhancing the maturity level for the PMO by introducing and enhancing processes and procedures, enhancing the capabilities and competencies of the staff, and make sure that benefits which is generated by PMO is aligned with organization strategy & objectives

Main Responsibilities
1.Coordinating common program activities, such as financing and procurement across all program components, work, or phases.
2.Planning the program, identifying and planning for benefits realization and sustainment, identification, and control of the interdependencies between projects; addressing escalated issues among the projects that comprise the program; and tracking the contribution of each project and the non-project work to the consolidated program benefits
3. Ensure alignment of the components plans with the program goals and benefits
4. Resolving resource constraints and/or conflicts that affect multiple components within the program
5. Responding effectively to risks spanning multiple components or the program
6. Aligning program efforts with organizational/strategic direction that impacts and affects individual components, groups of components or program goals and objectives
7.Resolving scope/cost/schedule/quality impacts within a shared governance structure; and
8. Communicating and reporting to stakeholders in a manner that reflects all activities within the program
Program Scope:
1. To design and to perform installation preparation for End Customer’s MPLS/FTTx core network,
Wireless network, Data Center, IPCC, Service Provider (SP) Voice excluding the Multiservice Edge
Concentrator (MGX), Network Management System (NMS) and Security.
2. To configure the MPLS/FTTx SP Voice (excluding the MGX) and NMS.
3. To provide implementation support for MPLS/FTTx core network and Wireless and Knowledge Transfer workshops on MPLS, SP, NMS, DC, IPCC and Security.
Key person in setting Jeraisy PMO including Process, Tools and People.

I work with constituent project managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects. Ensure the ultimate success of the program. Generally, I am responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the program. Also, I am responsible for stakeholder management, particularly stakeholder’s external to the organization.

Main responsibilities
1. Deliver IT Services Management (ITSM) solutions based on ITIL best practices that focus on the people, process, and technology and information perspectives of providing integrated organization wide business solutions within the IT infrastructure. This includes all aspects of ITSM best practices and methods from analysis, through architecture and design, to planning, implementation, and support.
2. Monitor open incidents, report calls and maintain and monitor Field Service Engineers tracking logs.
3. Expertise encompasses all phases of Field Service support and reports including: Labor distribution, contract, billable and warranty service report processing, expense, accounts payable, parts orders, warranties, repairs, maintenance orders and related documentation.
4. Create and maintain service catalogue
5. Ensure that services are delivered to agreed quality and service level measures and that performance and service reporting is in place.
6. Negotiate, get buy-in, design, and maintain SLAs with customers
