 Working as an RNO engineer for the managed services division at Huawei,
 Mobily Wimax/LTE Project, with around 2000 on-air sites
 Detailed analysis and troubleshooting through OMC statistics and live R1 traces, using the M2000 interface.
 Daily tasks include, KPIs (majorly: Accessibility, Mobility, Retainability, Link Quality) monitoring, investigation and taking action by escalating to the relevant teams.
 Drive test logs analysis over Genex Assistant to provide optimization recommendations.
 Network level parameter tuning studies; for congestion relief and coverage enhancement.
 Core Performance monitoring and initial troubleshooting; Core entities including PCRF, SGW, PGW, HSS, MME
 Weekly correspondence with customer for detailed review of on-going activities and Network KPI presentation

 Successfully completed thee Phase-1; (157 sites’) and Phase-2 (140 sites’) Performance and Planning deliverables.
 Link Budgeting, Frequency, Capacity and Coverage modeling for Initial plan for DAP, DAP Duo and SAAP line of WiMAX equipment from Motorola
 Professional working experience with ATDI (RF Simulation application) and Atoll simulation tools to design and simulate new sites and scenario based redesigns,
 Model Tuning using CW equipment and Drive test data.
 WiMAX Statistics based RF performance Optimization. Weekly report submission with Worst cells identification and their analysis. Main KPIs included in the analysis were Network Entry Success rate, FER, Downlink\Uplink Utilization, Sector Usage (Throughput), Initial/Periodic Ranging Correction Rate, UL/DL MCS distribution percentage, Deregistration Causes, etc. Created Microsoft Access tools for efficient data analysis and reporting.
 Drive Test data based hard optimization recommendations, used Agilent’s latest version of WiMAX based Drive test tool and Agilent’s WiMAX scanner equipment. Planned and successfully conducted a city wise Scan and Dedicated Drive test for Karachi for more than 250 sites.
 Hard Optimization included, tilt, azimuth and height changes to benchmark the site performance
 RF Audit of Hard and Soft Parameters
 Live network Congestion analysis and capacity enhancement recommendations which included traffic balancing, multicarrier implementation, TDD ratio change (recommended).
 WiMAX External Interference source searching using Spectrum analyzer and sector’s live Noise and Interference values. Successfully found a source and informed FAB (Frequency allocation board).
 Conducted Technical Site Surveys (TSS) and site location candidate evaluation during the pre deployment period
 Meetings with operator (Wi-tribe) counterparts and recommending designs and future site plans.
 Research based work on new features and equipments and capacity enhancement techniques

 Responsible for optimizing performance for 15 BSCs (150 sites) in the urban region of Karachi.
 Daily coordination with PMCL correspondents and recommending analysis based on monitoring of cell and carrier level stats.
 Reporting and Monitoring of Mobilink Pvt. (Ltd.) network in Karachi by analyzing Main indicators (KPIs) Drop call rate, Call Setup Success Rate, Handover Success Rate, Neighbor relationship handover analysis etc. to meet Key Performance indicator standards.
 Carrier level monitoring of cells for IOI (Interference On Idle time slot), BER, RF losses, Odd Even etc. issues.
 Daily Processing of Faisalabad and surrounding region sites’ stats and recommending worst cells.
 Analysis based reporting and troubleshooting using “TEMS” logs from the field data for Network and Site Health checks and finding quality, power level and frequency adjacency issues, Identifying Coverage holes and recommending Mobilink with action plans for each issue (health check, parameter optimization and recommending new sites or expansions)
 Using MAPINFO to create thematic for the drive tests and analysis based on log file replay.
 Other responsibilities included, traffic balancing, IOS data based optimization, Frequency allocation for new sites, neighbor analysis etc.
 Worked on Access for creating complex queries for the stats database.
 Planed sites with Mobilink for covering major capacity and coverage issues
