From June 2004 to Feb. 2006 (GE Products), I worked as the company Sales Director in charge of the following departments: Sales, Project Management, and Proposal & Costing Departments. My main duties were as follow: to construct and execute business plan to achieve company target, increase market share, and increase profitability. Areas covered are the whole Saudi market plus our international offices in Qatar and Sudan. The proposed business plan includes an increase of 23% in Sales based on the number of existing projects and market growth. Our main goals for this year are a. To establish a factory in Sudan. b. Introduce GEDAC load center to the local residential market using Indian breakers. C. Open new showrooms and bring new items to be sold as trading items.
Projects Manager Duties are to lead a team of project managers, reply to all customers’ enquiries, and maintain delivery schedule and make sure the promised delivery time are met. Other responsibilities are using the SCALA Projects Management Software to have complete management of time required for the fabrication and execution of each in house project.
From Feb. 1998 to June 2004, I worked as an Area Manager (Western and Central). My main duties are to achieve company quote in these areas. Source for new products to increase sales basket. Imply cross sales within the group. From October 1995 - Feb. 1998, I worked as a Senior Sales Engineer. My main duties were to construct a list of long term, short term, and potential projects. To construct a strategy to achieve these projects. Further, I was responsible for producing a list of new prospective customers who posses a potential projects, and to maintain a strong business relation with major consultants in our field.
