• Liaison with Vessel Owner/ Vessel Broker /Load -Discharge Port Agent /Stevedoring Agent for selecting the vessel suitable for Indian ports with appropriate age, Flag, Class and P & I.
• Customer oriented approach and responsiveness to deliver the best in tight situations to meet the customer demand
• Interaction with customers for High Sea Sale shipment, supporting them in documentation & custom clearance
• Arranging insurance of all import & export shipments from anywhere in world to anywhere in India & vice-versa.
• Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
• Working on new supply strategies
• Planning & scheduling the delivery of goods & cargoes
