Supervise and manage the collection, transportation and disposal of General / Hazardous waste, Preparation and review of procedures and work instructions related to waste management, Documentation of daily, weekly and unscheduled activities and to prepare monthly reports, Treatment of waste at site as per category like recyclable, toxic and Hazardous before disposal as per the Qatar Government policies for waste disposal, Guiding end users on managing hazardous chemical and bio-medical waste on storing, packing, Use of appropriate PPE’s, documentation and collection of waste for disposal.
Monitor and ensure uninterrupted services of Effluent treatment to effluent producing plants.
Monitor ETP laboratory & to ensure availability of ETP lab reagents, glassware and calibration of ETP critical equipments.
Ensure regular maintenance of equipments of ETP and Laboratory.
Operation and Maintenance of Sewage treatment plant.
Regularize & monitor the process of Hazardous solid & liquid waste collection, sorting, packing & transport to BEIL.
Monitor water pollution (storm water), regularize water balance & maintain daily record.
Ensure regular payment of the services like ETP operating & vessels cleaning agencies.
Ensure Site environmental Legal compliance (EP Act).
Form I (water report), Form 3 (monthly Hz waste report), Form 4 (yearly report on Hz waste), form V (Environmental statement).
Update regularly GPCB online requirements & Liaison with GPCB, NCTL and BEIL.
Worked on Waste water Treatment technologies like: MBR, MBBR, R.O, ASP, CAACO and Anaerobic Treatment of solid waste i.e. Biomethanation.
Conducting Effluent Treatability Studies for COD reduction.
Consultancy projects and liaisoning with CPCB, Goa PCB, GNFC & UPL.
Troubleshooting: Technologies like MBR, R.O., CAACO & ASP in STP, ETP & CETP.
Pilot Plant operation. Trial run, Operation & Commissioning of STP, ETP & CETP.
Analyze parameters in Laboratory & prepare Inventory of chemicals and glassware.
SAP - preparing purchase requisition & assistance to procurement in PO preparation.
Negotiating, finalizing laboratory instruments, glassware and chemicals with vendor
Literature surveys and report preparation.
• In-charge of all Environmental activities in Engine Department.
• Safety of workers & proper training on use of PPE while on job.
• In-charge of all bunkering operations.
• Monthly / Quarterly inventory of all Chemicals, Oil and greases.
• Routine testing of fresh water, conduct E-Coli test on fresh water samples.
• Maintaining all documents for waste, disembarked chemicals, fuel, permits & bunker.
