Duties & Responsibilities
1. Review and approve contractor submittals such as quality control plans, method statements, and material submittals.
2. Inspection for Qualification of materials, equipment & procedures for civil work activities.
3. The verification and acceptance of each phase of civil works activities.
4. The preparation of acceptance or non-conformance report where work is not as per specs.
5. Follow up and comply all the quality, health and safety environmental rules according to the project requirements.
6. Prepare and sign off Inspection and Test Request (ITR) following inspections and approvals
of work.
Etihad Railway section 1 and 3 Project
Assisting the QAQC Manager by inspecting every civil works Excavation conformity with regards to regulations, standards and procedures as required by project and Contractual requirements Tasks.
Supervise and manage all QA/QC functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors for day-to-day QA/QC functions.
Undertake QC functions in the workplace for daily QC activities.
Review and Implement Method Statements, checklists and inspection testing plan.
Coordinate with the consultant representatives on Quality matters.
Reporting, recording and inspecting activities.
Assuring that all the documents process is done and recorded as per approved technical procedures.
Identify and document non-conformance issues and work with project teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
Identify/ access the QC requirement for the project (Ex. Resources, procedures,
documentation etc.) and liaise with Project QC Manager/ Operation and QC Department for its compliance.
Supervise staff for reporting, recording and inspection activities.
Preparation of Final Handing over dossier and maintain proper filling system (as per
Company procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.
Act as a focal and coordination point for ISO internal and external audits and to conduct
internal and operation audits.
Have a proactive approach in problem solving in their respective discipline.
Preparation and Rehabilitation of sports Tracks in Various Places Abu Dhabi.
Reviewing all material submittals to ascertain and ensure that all the materials are only
used after their approval.
To ensure that the quality of materials is controlled in accordance with contract
specifications.
Reporting any non-conformity to the site QAQC Manager.
Resolve quality issues through identification of corrective and preventive actions to avoid any delay in work activity.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on site to ensure that work is properly
carried out as per standard and project specifications.
Maintain all site generated quality records.
Supervision of water proofing application, of structure.
Investigated and evaluated materials suitable for specific product applications.
Supervising quality control throughout the project.
Witness and evaluate test results on all materials used on site.
Daily inspections of the works and to review test results for compliance with specification and where necessary recommend remedial and preventive action.
To monitor all site activities i.e. concrete pouring and post tension, structure and to investigate the defects in the concrete.
To prepare all the required documents / reports for the DM Inspection, and to ensure to quality liable to project.
Inspection of Storm Water Line, Sewerage Line, Irrigation Line, Ducts and culverts.
Inspection of storm water Chambers, sewerage manhole, water proofing for
Underground sub structures.
Monitoring of progress and coordinate with Client & Planning Team.
Complete inspection reports and daily diary.
Check the safety condition at site and inform safety engineer from any hazardous and risks.
To check the work whether it’s going according to specifications.
Construction of M15 Swat Motorway Project
Testing of Asphalt, Concrete, Sub base and Road All Layers up to Marking.
Assist Material Engineer in preparation of JMF and Concrete Mix Designs.
To carry out Plant Trial, Lab trial for the concrete, and to witness the concrete testing and concrete batching plant, complying with project Quality Specification/ Standard.
To prepare weekly report for all testing carried out at site on weekly basis.
Respond to Contractors inspection notifications.
Responsible for all work of foundation treatment. Core testing and Bore hole investigation and reporting.
Completed pile work, boring, cage lowering and concrete pouring under my supervision.

Testing of NGC, Embankments, Subgrade, Sub Base, Aggregate Base Course material in lab and on site requirements as per project specification and international codes.
Testing of fresh Concrete on site and casting of Concrete cylinders as per requirements.
Testing of Concrete specimen and interpret their results as per requirements.
Testing of asphalt samples and interpret its results using Microsoft excel.
Preparation of weekly/monthly summary reports regarding all tests carried out at site and in laboratory.
Preparation of check requests and compile results for submission to consultant.
Gained knowledge in drilling techniques, sub surface investigation & soil tests.
Performed multiple tasks as slope mappings, core sample collection/ study and other relevant aspects of Engineering.
