Engineering of System Administration related solutions for various project and operational needs.
▪ Install new/rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services settings, directories, and
storage following standards based on project requirements.
▪ Develop and maintain installation and configuration policies and procedures.
▪ Recommend innovatively, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
▪ Identify approaches that leverage CCQ resources and provide economies of scale.

Information & Communication Technology-ICT
▪ Address client requirements concerning implementing Infrastructure business, and productivity
solutions.
▪ Understand customer requirements and generate a Project Implementation Plan, detailing all tasks to
be conducted for the implementation.
▪ Coordinate with Suppliers / Partners Consulting personnel to finalize designs and implementation plans.
▪ Manage project implementations using the methodology used by the company.
▪ Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and profitability.

Ensure Millennium Development International's (MDI), IT infrastructure, systems, and applications are
serving the business requirement at optimum levels.
▪ Increase efficiencies and effectiveness of MDI staff using technology by conducting workshops and
awareness sessions.
▪ Ensure backup is taken regularly and perform the necessary testing restore.
▪ Recommend, plan, design and implement new systems and applications, to satisfy the business
requirements.
▪ Diagnose hardware, software, and network problems.
▪ Configure and maintain storage devices, such as Storage Area Network-SAN.
▪ Configure and maintain technical security policies per the MDI business security policies.
▪ Configure and maintain backup and recovery.
▪ Develop IT documentation and user guides as needed.
▪ Install and maintain patches, service packs, and firmware upgrades.
▪ Monitor all the up-running systems regularly.
▪ Act proactively, to limit potential software/hardware matters.

Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the
supporting infrastructure.
▪ Implement network security policies at the regional level as established by Arope corporate security
director.
▪ Maintain and monitor Arope IT infrastructure.
▪ Configure and upgrade the Arope CISCO IP telephone system.
▪ Oversee and check systems backups, archiving, and provide expert support.
▪ Work as a project team member to help implement internal systems.
▪ Supervise all help desk activities.
▪ Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products.
▪ Ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.

Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware peripherals, services, settings, directories, and
storage, following standards and project/operational requirements.
▪ Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
▪ Recommend innovatively, and where possible to automated approaches for system administration tasks.
▪ Conduct daily system monitoring, verifying the data integrity and availability to all hardware, server
resources, systems states.
▪ Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
▪ Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully
backed up to a relevant media, backup tapes and disks to make sure media is being rewound and sent
to off-site as necessary.
▪ Perform regular file archival systematically and purge data as necessary.
▪ Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
▪ Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
