As construction manager my responsibility for all the site works , in addition to have meetings with consultant, and to coordinate with other sub contractors.

The project comprises the dualization of the existing single carriageway road from Farq Roundabout to Marfa’a Daris (about 17 km). The existing road passes through the dense urban development of the Town of Nizwa adjacent to a major wadi. The works comprise upgrading existing junctions to signalized intersections, provision of new signalize intersections, the construction of five new roundabouts, three pedestrian bridges, six pedestrian underpasses and two wadi bridges.
Planned and supervised the major functions of the project section which included the responsibility for the planning and co-ordination of all manpower and equipment, materials supplies, and sub-contracted services, towards the proper completion of the work on schedule with approved drawings, specification, cost and quality limitations.
Port Interchange Project (SPIN) - Oman Contract Value: US$ 127, 651, 600 million.
The project comprises the construction of a main Cloverleaf interchange, two subsidiary flyovers and the dualization or realignment of the highways leading to the interchange.
Oman Contract Value: US$ 1, 168, 831, 169 million.
Construction of New Runway, 4000 m long, 60 m wide with 2 shoulders of 7.5 m, taxiways 25 m wide with two shoulders of 17.5 m, rapid exit taxiway, link taxiways, dualization of existing roads, service roads, 8 bridges, earthworks, utilities system, utility buildings, airfield lighting system, drainage and sewage collection system and upgrading of the existing runway.

Duties
Review contract/tendering documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of the relevant contract requirements liaising with planning and budgeting engineers as necessary to establish and implanting systems for the section.
Assess and influence content of client/ partner construction drawings and procedures, prior to issue, in order that construction execution is optimized in the most cost effective and timely manner.
Ensure that all actions and activities assigned to the section at the mobilization stage are implemented within agreed time scales.
Establish together with relevant Managers and Engineers, the resourcing requirements for the section, including staffing, PMV etc. to ensure that these are accurate.
Plan/schedule the work priorities and resources in line with the Construction Schedule monitoring subsequent progress, ensuring the corrective action is agreed and implement where variation from Schedule occurs.
Provide technical advice and guideline in the event of any contractual/ legal matters or complications relevant to his scope of work.
Monitor the supervision or the work being undertaken within own scope of work to ensure full compliance with all relevant standards e.g Contract documents, specification, method statements, CCC policy and procedures.
Establish and subsequently monitor all work processes and systems within own Section/area to ensure that CCC policy and procedures i.e ISO 9000. Safety procedures are constantly implemented.
