1. Planning
Develops project schedule and budget; reviews project proposal or plan to determine time requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project; establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel; confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Manages projects and coordinates with the project engineer for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, histograms, material delivery schedule etc.) of the project activities; defines the scope and implements project plans in accordance with the client’s needs during project start-up, execution and completion stage.

2. Execution
Implements the project plans and outcomes for selected project(s) as approved by senior management to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe.
Manages all site work and ensures that it is executed in accordance with the contract approved specifications, drawings, plan, and method statement/ procedures submitted to the consultant.
Liaises with all concerned support functions on project related issues and follow-up on specific project requirements such as manpower, urgent materials / supplies and finance to ensure smooth operations.

3. Monitoring
Reviews the projects file and ensures that all relevant documents related to the project are provided in the file.
Ensures timely delivery of projects within approved budget and to agreed quality standards so as to achieve profitability and Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
Defines and manages overall project risk identification, control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure successful project delivery.

4. Coordination & Communication
Improves Client/ Consultant relations, by proactively resolving client concerns that may arise during project execution in order to safeguard the Company’s rights and entitlements. Attends to all technical progress meetings with Consultant/ Client and implement any corrective actions.
Responsible for providing timely feedback to the management regarding project progress, and ensure that the project is going as per approved quality / service standards.
Coordinates project activities with activities with government regulatory or other government agencies (if required); coordinates intra and inter departmental matters necessary to expedite the projects; and facilitates and troubleshoots the solution of problems associated with designing, implementing, leading, and completing projects
