Project:
OLTP is a world class multi-threaded transaction processing system, an implementation of ISO-8583 protocol standard, written in Java which processes online financial transactions from world known switches like Visa, MasterCard, and Discover etc.
Achievements:
Converted an existing OLTP application (which was written in Informix DB procedures) into Java based multi-threaded system which could process financial transactions with better design, performance and code maintainability.
Worked with analysts and design architects to improve application performance and was able to record 55 TPS on staging servers.
Gained the full control on the all application areas and took responsibility of the maintaining whole application i.e. business layer (business services) and switch layer (multi-threaded, socket based service; responsible for receiving, parsing and hence forwarding transactions to the business layer for business processing).
Maintained whole OLTP code for more than 2.5 years; refactor and restructured where required i.e. for better performance and maintainability.
Contributed in the design and analysis phases as well specially where restructuring or refactoring is required.
Participated in peer technical and non-technical reviews to help complying company¡¦s standards, tools, techniques and methodologies.

Landslide was a Sales System which combines on-demand sales process software, web 2.0 sales performance tools and live personal sales assistants to help you build a world class sales organization with higher close rates.
Achievements:
===========
Converted an existing web product named Landslide (which was written in JSF and full of navigations) to a Web 2.0 Implementation using JSF, Ajax, Ajax4JSF and YUI.
Worked closely with product development lead and team members to participate in design and implement a cutting edge Web 2.0 user experience throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Designed, developed and modified new and existing components and features emphasizing: maintainability, reliability and especially performance by making some dramatic changes.
Participate in internal project review meetings and communicate ideas to our talented teams in Lahore and US.
