Perform General Administrative function such as Payroll, Schedule of training courses, sending e-mails, handle telephone calls and inquiries, encoding files, monitoring office supplies, contacts database, files & record keeping system and personnel requirements
Responsible for the list of Person on Board, Lifeboat station, HSE Observations, Monthly crew change and daily personnel movement
Preparation of 24 hrs. Rig Manager report to be submitted in the head office
Operates various forms of technical communication systems line and electronic including Telephone/Radio as HF, VHF, UHF and microwave bands to send and receive a variety of messages from the drilling rig to Abu Dhabi, vessels and other location.
Adheres to all Global standard procedures in Maritime distress and communication, uses correct International procedures and code, and respects confidentiality throughout.
Keeps daily log of all communication received, transmission made and maintains files and records for reference and control.
Ensure prompt action in all emergency cases by carrying out his tasks in accordance with standard procedures on emergency call
Received weather report daily and make observation of sea condition as required by supervisor. Ensure to broadcast to sea craft, helicopter and other concerned Personnel.
Monitoring of different alarm panels.
Ensures that all radio equipment is maintained in first class working condition at all times
Carries out other similar or related duties such maintaining personal records, maintaining radio room clean and tidy, observing company’s safety procedure and regulation.
Responsible for the safety of all personnel on the helideck during helicopter landing.
Attending Helicopter landing to disembark all passenger and ensure baggage and freight are offload and on load correctly.
Coordinates with helicopter Pilot & helicopter Coordinator to be aware of Flight plan and program
Performs customer service support for Sprint/Nextel customer in Hong Kong, Singapore
Assists immediate supervisor (T.L.) in handling team stats.
