● Review functional and design specifications to ensure full
understanding of individual deliverables.
● Backend database testing in Microsoft SQL SERVER environment
including validating stored procedures, jobs and triggers.
● Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case
requirements and design test coverage plan.
● Maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data,
data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
● Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test
results.
● Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team
members.
● Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate
potential quality issues immediately to management.
● Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design
specifications and requirements.
● Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
● To maintain and update test case document.
● Test Planning and Execution.
BitsWits is a hi-tech technology software house, which aimed to develop
Enterprise solutions for telecommunication industry. Ranging from Security to
Soft Switch, Business process automation, rate management system,
integrated routing, role based access control, business intelligence to
enterprise level frameworks.
Roles:
● Create and execute Test cases and Test scenarios using FS document.
● To perform Functional testing, Black box testing, Exploratory testing, Regression
testing, Performance testing, and Smoke testing of applications.
● Perform thorough functional testing and Security testing on mobile devices.
● Automation Testing (Selenium Webdriver).
● Created Administration user manual.
● Client Handling-Understanding problems of clients, User stories on bugs.
● Create Test Cases, Test Strategies.
● Documentations, such as test plans and test cases.
● To identify and document product problems or defects for rectification.
● To provide suggestions to improve testing strategies.
● Find and report bugs and keep their track by using MANTIS BUG TRACKER.
● Actively participate in discussions and meetings.
● Have been proactively developing/designing and maintaining manual test cases
and then execute them.
