o Working alongside the Architects in developing construction strategies and sequences for residential
buildings, commercial buildings and renovation works
o Acting as the main technical advisor on the construction site
o Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phase of the project
and assisting in managing and timely delivery of the project
o Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
o Checking the plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculation
o Liaising with the contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce
involved in the project
o Communication with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them
informed about the progress of the project
o Overseeing the quality control and the health and safety matters on site
o Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site

o Worked on the complete execution of the structure from excavation to the finishing stage
o Supervise the site on a day-to-day basis which includes monitoring the labour force
o Ensure all the materials used for construction are as per specifications and the contractors are
working by the final drawings provided
o Studying and assessing the structural drawings, plans, specifications and other details relating to the
project
o Gained experience in structural drawings readings as well as the sequence of activities carried out at
the site
o Initiating and ensuring standard civil engineering discipline in drawings and plans
o Worked on the AutoCAD drawings and details required for the site
