Reporting to Group CFO/IT Director
• Al Sraiya Group is large organization with around 4, 000 employees consists of around 24 different companies.
The group is in to hospitality, Service, Car Rental, Trading, Equipment Service (Garage Operations) & Rental, Manufacturing, Construction and Investment business.
Created complete Functional Requirement Document (FRD) for HR & Payroll for the whole group.

Created a comprehensive FRD for 2 Ready Mix companies and Qatar’s biggest Block Interlock and Tile Factory, detailing every single business process.
Based on the FRD Evaluated ERP solutions and shortlisted vendors
Selected, negotiated and signed agreements with HR & Payroll vendor and Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Partner.
Successfully managed the projects to automate the complete organizations (24 companies) HR & Payroll processors across the group.
Successfully managed implementation of AX 2012 R3 for Ready Mix Business and Tiles, Blocks and Interlock Production Companies (Qatar’s Largest) which included Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Modules. Coordinated project activities with Finance, Operation teams and head of departments managing all stake holders. Using my experience as ERP Consultant I was able to extract maximum value from money from the AX partner at the same time was able to guide the Managers and Key users to adapt to Best Practices. Managed project deployment, Cost and Milestone signoff.

Heavily involved in Project Management and Business process re-engineering process of these companies as they were using out dated none integrated software to manage business.
Sourced and signed agreement with different vendors for customizations bringing in considerable saving to Al Sraiya Group. Gather requirements and translate them in to Functional Requirement document, coordinate development work with off shore vendor, UAT test, improve and deploy programs.

Subsequently in past 2 years implemented internally AX 2012 R3 for 5 companies within the group, (Savings of over a 1 Million Riyal). Process is ongoing for remaining companies within the group.

I
• Responsible for overall Business Application Solutions for the whole group (Around 40 users comprising Finance, Operational staff, General Managers and Factory staff)
• Day to day operational support for all end users, ensure high availability of ERP Application servers/database servers and backup systems. Responsible for user access rights setup for both AX and HR & Payroll systems.
• Ensure right solutions implemented based on business needs of individual companies
• Coordinate and follow up resolution to day to day end user issues, month end reconciliations, Inventory closing, Financial Reports (total of 80 AX users and 15 HR & Payroll users)

Since this is a large group of companies I have identified, trained and built up a team of
Accountants as internal ERP subject experts.
• Project status and progress reporting. Coordinate with CFO’s and Finance Managers, BU Head’s of business entities to ensure successful implementation. Timely generation of monthly Financial Statements for all companies, ensure accuracy of reports by ensuring completion of transaction posting within cutoff dates.
• Manager ERP Partner, Software Development partner, other Business Application vendors, ERP Budget, AMC and annual license renewals.
• Initiated implementation of SharePoint based DMS solution across the group. Currently
DMS solution is being deployed for HR, Finance Department (Selected Companies)
• Continuously refine policies and processors to improve and maximize utilization of ERP and ROI. Identify gaps, translate them in to Functional and Technical documents, Provide workaround solutions or coordinate with development team for customization.

Team Lead/Senior ERP Consultant في Emirates Technology Company (EMITAC)

• Manage Software Technology department Ax and Great Plains ERP team. Spearhead implementations and project management
• Study client business processors and propose ERP Software which fits clients business needs.
• Respond to Tenders and RFP Documents
• Product Presentations (GP and Ax)
• Monitor, manage Dynamics customers
• Identify and define GAP Fit Analysis. Manage Development teams and coordinate delivery of customizations with customer.
Major Accomplishments
• Al Mamoon Group- Qatar Ax2009 Implementation.
Al Mamoon is a group of companies based out of Doha. Company trades on Safety items
And is a major supplier to Qatar Petroleum, supplying high powered electrical cable cleaning equipment. Company opted to automate finance, supply chain and warehousing aspects of the business with Ax2009. As a senior consultant assigned to the project studied the existing business processors of each company and came up with the FRD. The FRD was used as the initial document to configure Ax2009. 2 CRP Companies were configured with base setup. These companies were used to demonstrate and train the users prior to setting up the 3 live companies.

Modules Implemented GL, AR, AP, Bank, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Warehousing and Inter- company.

• Al Darwish Engineering
The company is in to construction and contracting. As part of the ERP Evaluation by Al Darwish Group a large construction company in Qatar,
I was entrusted to study the business requirements of AL Darwish Group and do a proof of concept on Ax2009 to Al Darwish top management. Emphases were given to Projects Modules of Ax. Configured AX2009 Finance and Project Accounting modules to for a 1 week long workshop and POC for key users. Complete PA module
Was mapped to Darwish Engineering process, Projects, subcontracts, Cost codes, WIP, Estimates (Multiple) live samples of each of these modules were mapped and the complete cycle was demonstrated to Key user and top management.

• Qatar Ports Management Company (QPMC)
Requested by Microsoft Qatar to do a high level business requirement study in order to understand QPMC business process requirements. The objective of the study is to come up with a Requirement summary and map the processors to Dynamics Ax. The end result was to produce an ERP RFP for QPMC.
After the project was awarded, I was tasked to do a detailed study of the QPMC Business Processors and Port Operations to produce the FRD for Dynamics Ax2009.
Top level management team members across the organization were interviewed during the process of FRD compilation. Based on the FRD the requirements are mapped to AX2009 and FDD was produced for the Implementation Team. My future role in the project is to function as senior consultants where I assist and guide the Implementation team.

• EMITAC - Requested by EMITAC senior management was extensively involved in the Business Process Analysis for EMITAC group (Consists EMITAC Distribution, EMITAC Health Care, Emitac Mobile Solution and EMITAC Enterprise Solutions) for the organizations migration from Dynamics Great Plains to ORACLE ERP

• Emirates Aluminum (EMAL) Dynamics Great Plains ERP Deployment, along with RAMCO HRMS and managing the whole project as EMITAC Project Manager and Lead Consultant, successfully completing the project on set delivery schedule. GP was implements during the construction phase of the smelter plant of EMAL as an interim solution to manage the construction of the plant.

• Commercial Bank of Dubai Great Plains ERP Deployment. Appointed as principal ERP Consultant to fully utilize the benefits of Dynamics GP, spearheaded the design, business process Analysis, Gap Fit Analysis and Business Process Re-engineering stages of the project. One of the key elements of the project is to build interface to CBD’s core banking software (Phoenix). Actively engaged in CBD implementation on the request of CBD senior management.

Initial task was to take over 2 of the failed EPICOR implementations and complete the projects.
The customers were Al Otaiba Group of Companies and Omair Bin Yousuf, both these large Automobile distributors in Abu Dhabi, within a short period of time I was able to complete the assigned tasks and get both the companies live on Epicor which has integration to Auto Link
