1. To handle over Rs. 4000 million in annual expenditures, including procurement of pharmaceutical raw & packing materials, machinery and equipment, chemicals and consumable, engineering and IT items required to run three production units of Lucky Core Industries Ltd, Animal Health Business (feed premixes, vaccines, drugs and medicines).
2. To oversee imports right from establishing LC/BC, dealing with DRAP, Bankers, Forwarding companies, Clearing Agents and Transporters till delivery of materials.
3. To maintain service level of more than 98% and to develop a mechanism for improving efficiency at different stages of procurement cycle.
4. To involve in the Research and Development of Suppliers for cost cutting, alternate sourcing and to implement SMI (Supplier Manage Inventory).
5. To devise a comprehensive procurement strategy based on Spend Analysis.
6. To carry out ABC Analysis to identify high value, low value, FSN (fast moving, slow moving, non-moving), critical, non-critical and SOS (seasonal and off seasonal) items to develop policy guidelines for inventory controls.
7. To constantly cultivate the spirit of integrity, purchasing ethics and responsibility in the team.
