Established in October 2011, Sadara Chemical Company is a joint venture developed by the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). It is an unprecedented undertaking - the largest chemical complex ever built in the world in a single phase, with 26 integrated world-scale manufacturing plants, over 3 million metric tons of capacity per year, and a total investment of about US$20 billion.
Key Responsibilities:
•Commissioning and Maintenance Stage:
PLANNER Role
•Become HC-Maintenance Planner, handling 2 areas of MFC - COLD and CTF
•Verify work scope from gatekeepers and conduct site visit before creating plan operational steps to technicians and contractors.
•Identify spare material as per BOM based on equipment cross sectional drawing and post it to material coordinator for reservation and collection.
•Work package creation with complete set of drawing attachments, job procedures, checklists, hazard assessment and rigging plan.
•Established communication relationships with contractors that having outline agreement with company and contest contractor in terms of hours and area measurement for proper budgeting.
•Request and secure contractor job card with correct detail of measurement, resources and cost.
•Create PR in all tasks that involve contractor that is having OA to company with justification through their job cards.
•Create PR for non OA contractors/vendors with complete scope of work details to sourcing department as reference for RFQ.
•Provide justification to all involve parties for PO’s approval.
•Responsible of processing all released mechanical PPM’s plan in 2 areas through SAP system.
As WAC Role
•Interact with maintenance engineers for issues on site and provide preliminary report.
•Communicate with commissioning leaders, production engineers and scheduler for proper resourcing and output.
•Interact with planners for proper documentations such as job step operations, drawings and specifications, check lists and field validated procedures.
•Communicate with scheduler and gatekeepers for the next day plan task.
•Responsible in SAP WAC role update including P6 for day to day task completion and delays.
•Maintain good KPI output with outstanding need date adherence achievements.
•Attend all emergency /priority 1 WO’s and act as a planner for the task in accordance with maintenance work process.
As FOREMAN Role
•In-charge of all preparation on site for the resources (manpower, required tools and materials).
•Perform daily tail gate/tool box talk with craftsman and ensure that safety policy of the plant being followed.
•Assigning daily task to craftsman based on individual category and capability.
•Supervise and inspect craftsman daily task in the field to ensure and maintain their safety with good output and proper execution.
•Conduct goal assessment to all apprentices/technicians and provide/share technical knowledge for their growth.
•Responsible in submitting detailed report for the next shift to follow up and to ensure that shift in-charge understand the latest update in the field.
•Capable in doing SAP update when WAC is not around including notification creation.
Sinopec Refinery (YASREF) under the plant package of Gasoline & Sulfur Plant
•Saudi KayanPetro Chemical Complex under the plant package of LDPE (Low Density Poly Ethylene)
Key Responsibilities:
•Construction Phase:
•Vendor’s central focal point of the project in EPC side. Allowing all communications and coordination to implement the non-required vendor’s assistance equipment installations.
•Coordinator of all vendor site engineers to facilitate their needs to precede the installation process in their respective equipment’s.
•Second in charge of mechanical equipment department in terms of coordination meetings.
•Responsible for all installation method of statements up to pre commission stage for the critical and valuable equipment’s.
•In charge of making detailed schedule up to commissioning stage.
•In charge of making over all reports of achievements from mechanical equipment department.
•Supervise and Inspect concrete foundations and structural beams prior for equipment installations such as verification of anchor bolt holes dimensions.
•Coordinate with rigging team for the heavy lifting plan.
•Interact with material department for the next priority delivery schedule.
Project Involvement:
•Ethylene Amines Plant Project
Key Responsibilities:
•Construction Phase:
•Supervise the construction of all mechanical equipment’s including piping’s and HVAC within the area scope.
•Responsible in creating detailed schedule according to scheduling plan and manpower strength.
•Attending coordination meeting involving all disciplines to discuss engineering issues or any revision occurred in the area of responsibility.
•Provide sketch drawing to sub-contractor if issues occurred in the area.
•Discuss and provide suggestions to engineering department for the fastest revision drawing issuance.
•Coordinate to QA/QC department and to client for every completion done in the area and conduct final inspection.
•Attending progress and coordination meetings with every discipline involve and client representatives.
Project Involvement:
•Marafiq (Independent Water and Power Plant)
Key Responsibilities:
•Construction Phase:
•Maintaining the quality of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Steam Turbine Generator and Gas Turbine Generator installations.
•In charge of all equipment’s installation inspections in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Heat Recovery Steam Generators including pressure boundary piping’s and duct burners piping.
•Conducting hydrostatic test with owner representatives, ASME Authorized Inspector and vendor of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator Pressure Boundary Piping’s (Condensate Pre-Heater, High Pressure Economizer, Super heater & Evaporator including Steam Drum).
•Conducting line inspection and generating punch lists items before hydrostatic and pneumatic test will be performed.
•Conducting inspection for all coupling alignments such as; High Pressure Feed Water Pumps, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Gas Turbine Turning Gear, Lube Oil Pumps for Steam & Gas Turbine, Liquid Fuel Pumps, Air Atomizing Compressor and many more.
•Attending general inspection such as; Padding Elevations, Location and Orientation, Plumpness, Grouting, and Sliding Pad Levelness Inspection.
•Attending the inspection and test according to approved ITP, verifying the inspection reports and validating the results.
•Conduct daily inspection with vendors, client representatives and sub-contractors.
•Day to day report to QCM for corrective actions for any non-conformity found during inspection.
•Monitoring of non-conformities, quality system deficiencies and corrective actions.
•Conduct material preservation inspection as per vendor’s recommendations and as per project quality control procedures.
•Inspection of material to ensure that the proper materials are supplied in accordance with the approved documentations.
•Conducting inspections on validation of welder’s certificate, quality of the work and safety.
•Ensure that the required and approved specifications are followed in all works being done.
•Offer NDT inspection when task is fully completed.
•Coordinate with the consultants for the final inspections.

•Coordinating client for the Handover Agreement System.
•Conduct monitoring in the area’s which were handed over to the client for any defects and damages.
Construction Phase:
•Maintaining the quality of HVAC installation in all offices and switch gear area.
•Responsible of all mechanical works in the project scope.
•Discuss the matter concerning the non-conformity to the corporate quality manager and to the project management for the necessary actions to be taken.
•Check and verify the installation of gaskets, supports, valve internals, instruments control valves prior to line reinstatement acceptance as per the latest revision drawings for construction, P & ID and project related costs, specifications and standards.
•Ensure that the required and approved specifications are followed in all works being done.
•Coordinate with the client consultants for final inspections.
