Major Responsibilities & Duties
Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements Identifies and assesses the risks of material misstatement of the entity's financial statements. Obtains an understanding of internal control relevant to the audit Evaluates the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates and related disclosures made by the directors Evaluates the overall presentation, structure and content of the financial statements, including the disclosures Consistently analyzing the financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the financial status Assisting leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administering and reviewing all financial plans and comparing to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate Coordinating all audit activities
