1. Reviewing the tender documents.
2. Work closely with customers to understand their exact requirement and to provide solutions.
3. Provide information needed for the development of specially made equipment.
4. Carrying out site surveys and preparation of technical reports.
5. Preparing construction activities and other related documents to support successful execution of the project.
6. Coordinating with the draftsman in preparing shop drawings.
7. Review of shop drawings related to his discipline and ensures its compliance with designs, contract requirement and properly coordinated with other discipline.
8. Quantity take off and material ordering.
9. Preparing LPO's and Placing material orders and follow up.
10. Coordinating with the Installation of all Electrical and Mechanical services as per the approved drawings.
11. Prepare daily construction reports (DCRs) and update the reports to the field lead engineer.
12. Inspecting electrical panel installation, monitoring control panel wiring, cable termination.
13. Perform maintenance on electrical panel.
14. Rewire and install panel boards and switches.
15. Supervising and checking the installation of conduits and Cable trays, Cable ladders, Trunking, MCB's, ELCB's, ACB's, Lighting, Power sockets, Isolators, HVAC Equipment (FAHU, AHU, FCU, SEF, MAF, EXF etc.), Ducting, CWS with valve packages, Fire Fighting system, Plumbing system, etc.
16. Testing & commissioning of Cables, MDB's, SMDB's, and DB's final fixtures, Fire alarm System, Mechanical System (HVAC, Fire Fighting, plumbing).
17. Installation of earthing and lightning protection systems, conventional/addressable type fire alarm systems, central battery emergency lighting system, MATV/SMATV system, telephone/data system, CCTV system, Public Addressable system, and audio/video intercom systems.
18. Ensure the Quality of works is maintained at site as per project requirements, Specifications, method of statements and design drawing.
19. Preparing electrical and Mechanical inspection report.
20. Installing distribution boards for LV.
21. Preparing a requisition of material, machine and labor requirements.
22. Assisting the MEP manager in assuring the implementation of quality & safety at site.
23. Documenting daily output.
24. Forwarding the labor & subcontract bills to MEP manager and Account department.
25. Snagging and preparation of punch lists of items for corrective action following completion of construction in preparation for project handover.
26. Co-ordination with client/client representative for samples approval, variations etc.
27. Evaluating and approving the variation orders and monthly payments.
28. Coordinate with client, consultant, and contractor during the site inspections and for Customer acceptance.
29. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients and other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
30. Responsible for preparing of monthly work progress report.
31. Responsible for enhancing construction works by attending crew safety meetings.
32. Monitoring Health and Safety.
