and Responsibilities:
• Good knowledge and experience for the Network of OTN and MOXA multiplexers for the communication of SCADA/PLC systems. And their installation, system configuration, testing and commissioning. Activation, integration and migration of voice, data and video circuits.
• Ensure maximum network availability of both fiber and m/w transmission network.
• Provide planning, designed and implementation of various communications equipment.
• Carry out in time preventive maintenance of SDH equipment installed at site and provide onsite trouble shooting with view to resolve.
• Provide maintenance of Local Area Networks of various data switches.
• Performs operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on various SDH Fiber Optic transmission system and microwave radio communications equipment.
• Performs installation, configuration, system integrate, testing and commissioning of SDH Equipment.
• Performs operation and maintenance on RIG sites for trunk radio, vhf radio, data, VSat, and telephones.
• Perform SDH channel end to end path BER link test and local test for 2Mbits, 155Mbps, 622Mbps, 2.4Gbps and 10.4Gbps using spectrum optical analyzer, interface serial cable, optical attenuators and patch cord with various type of connectors, and optical power meter.
• Perform trouble shooting on SDH fiber optics system links and determine faults; like path high errors, degraded signal, alarm indication system, communication subsystem failure and loss of signal; perform immediate actions based on predefined procedures.
• Perform DACS Node Activation, configuration testing and commissioning of circuits and integrates to NMS (Network Management System). Install wirings for 2Mbps and VF circuits.
• Perform troubleshooting, analyze and resolve any networks or hardware problems on the rings. Performs operations and maintenance for PABX system.
• Create Remedy Change for all outages, indicating start and end times, their duration, announcement and causes; (Related to Transmission, Data Networks, Facilities and Switching Activities.)
• Support to utilize the VSAT (Via Satellite) trailer for Stowing, deploying and troubleshooting in 1.8m AVL Antenna.
• Liaise/work with Technical support on problems/issue found in the field.
• Provide planning, designed and implementation of various communications equipment.
• Respond to all end user requests/orders for new Data and voice service that received though on line (Customer relationship management application).
• Installation of new Huawei IP Phones and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables at customers' premises.
• Installation and troubleshooting internet facility.
• Install and Trouble shoot following Type of internet ADSL modem.
