▪ Check and record measure of work done.
▪ Review and certify contractors' interim payment applications and issue PC.
▪ Review contractor’s commercial proposal for any work/scope changes
▪ Review, negotiate and recommend for the submitted variations by ensuring that the contractual coverage is implemented and prepare draft Variation orders
▪ Claims Management, assist commercial manager on all aspects of contractual claims.
▪ Coordinates with other team members for reviewing and assessing the Claims
▪ Review Contractor’s notifications and draft response as per the contract provisions
▪ Maintaining records of correspondence (Log) to ensure the effective administration of contractual matters
▪ Management of final accounts including preparation and agreement with the Contractor
▪ Prepare and submit reports such as, cost report, potential variations, cash flow forecast etc as per Employer/Client Requirements
▪ Maintaining/periodically updating the project cost to complete according to the available details, notifying any savings/overrun/missing items in the contract ▪ Ensure all warranties, bonds, insurances guarantees, etc., are in placed & maintained.
▪ Attend meetings with Client, Contractors and stakeholders
▪ Attends Commercial Meetings and record minutes of meeting
Prepare contractual correspondence and maintaining records to ensure the effective administration of contractual matters
▪ Review Contractor’s notifications and timely responding as per the contract provisions
▪ Monthly valuation of Contractors payment application and certify /recommend the payments
▪ Prepare and submit engineering estimates and obtain preliminary approval/ consent of Employer prior to give instructions to the Contractor for any changes
▪ Review and recommend the submitted variations by ensuring that the contractual coverage is implemented and prepare request for approval and Variation orders
▪ Claims Management, provide assistance to commercial manager on all aspects of contractual claims. Responsible for the management and identification of claims as they develop, managing timely resolution under the contractual provisions
▪ Coordinates with other team members in line with for reviewing and assessing Claims
▪ Assists to commercial manager in the preparation of recommendation reports to Client for the approval
▪ Management of final accounts including preparation, submission and agreement with Contractor
▪ Prepare and submit cost report, potential variations, cost estimates as per Employer/Client Requirements
▪ Maintaining/periodically updating the project cost to complete according to the available details, notifying any savings/overrun/missing items in the contract ▪ Ensure all warranties, bonds, insurances guarantees, etc., are in place, maintained and updated in accordance with the Contract and in compliance with the Clients requirements
▪ Providing monthly cash flow forecast to Employer for fund allocation
▪ Attend meetings with Client, Contractors and stakeholders
▪ Attends Commercial Meetings and records minutes of meetings
Prepare Client monthly Interim Payment Application with respect to the work progress, ensuring the prompt submittal and completeness of valuation with all the supporting documents to certify by the Consultant/Client
▪ Preparing Variations and Identifying claims based on changes, provide quantities and cost estimates. Follow up with the Consultant/ Employer’s representatives to obtain approval.
▪ Rate buildup/adjustments for new scope/items
▪ Attending meetings with the Client & Subcontractor’s Commercial team to sort-out the claim disputes
▪ Drafting Contractual correspondence and notices
▪ Prepare subcontract packages (BoQ, Specification and define scope) for Subcontracting
▪ Preparing comparison statement and evaluating, negotiating the terms for subcontracting
▪ Preparing Subcontract Agreements, Local/International Purchase Order (LPO) using company standard templates (ERP system).
Checking and valuating the subcontractor’s work based on Contract and preparing Payment Certificates
▪ Checking and evaluating the subcontractor’s variation claims
▪ Work with Project Director/ Project Manager for budget estimate, manpower planning, sub-contractors payments, daily and monthly manpower reports
▪ Preparing IBC (Internal Budget Change) request
▪ Coordinate and assist to prepare Cash flow forecast, Cost analysis
▪ Coordinate with planning department to prepare the monthly report, Variation order and Delay analysis
▪ Assigning, directing and monitoring the works of subordinates
▪ Maintaining the project commercial logs (Payment, Variation, Contra charges, guarantee etc)
Prepare Interim Payment Application with respect to the work progress
• Identifying the variation work and prepare the variation order
• Rate buildup/adjustments for new scope/items
• Prepare BoQ, Specification and define scope for special works for outsourcing (Subcontracting)
• Analyze and prepare comparison statement for the quotations received from subcontractors and report to the superior
• Coordinate and negotiate the terms with the subcontractor
• Analyze and Certifying the Subcontractor’s payment application based on Contract
• Coordinate and assist to prepare Cash flow forecast, Cost analysis
• Coordinate with planning department to prepare the monthly report, Variation order and Delay analysis for loss and expense claims
